I'm particularly fond of this small collection of yours, so sensitive… and respectful of the character's spirits. Entirely different from most of the Sesshomaru/Rin stories I've read. Very accurate, I must say. Congratulations again, and good luck with the challenges!

Great as always. You seem to have a knack for getting into the heart of the characters as I think their creator would see them. I don't think the demons in the Inuyasha universe would avoid humans because of our relatively short lives, but because it is in the nature of most of them to do so. I just lost my cat after 11 years, and I loved him dearly, but that doesn't mean I won't finish grieving, move on and then get a kitten or pair who need a good home. It would be tougher to have a romantic love interest with someone whose lifetime was so much shorter, but certainly close friendships and the love of friends would be eminently doable if the demon was interested. Many people have 3 or 4 serial pets in a lifetime, and missing one doesn't mean you will love the next one less. Clearly, Sesshoumaru loves Rin very much. On multiple occasions through the Manga Sesshoumaru has put his life and/or his plans at risk to protect to rescue Rin, and really, as you said, after following her into Hell, what greater declaration of love is there?

He knows he love that little girl. I enjoyed this short. So torn is our demon lord. To go through all that and not love her? As much as he loves her adoration for him, who else but Rin can give him the sincere praise he knows he likes and sings a song where is the subject. Wonderful Indeed! Peace

Must say EXCELLENT job, on MM too!!! Was wondering when you'll be posting it here! It's so nice to read it again!!! Was thinking... beyond all his Youkai-coldness-thing, should be difficult to see the humans you care for, grow older and die. We always tend to see things from ower human side, but maybe all this... crap about "weak creatures" it's their selfdefense way of avoiding suffering. You know, to get close to people, laugh and enjoy and share with beings that will die shortly after. For them, it's too short time to us, a life-time. They look the same, don't change... how is it for them? To be able to watch the seasons change through centuries, to not get close to a human being because you know that in a blink of an eye they'll be not more... Sad, lonely, cold... Okay, Excellent job as usual. Thank you ::bows deeply: thank you!!

Your introspection on the enigma that is Sesshoumaru is awesome! The end had me weepy. It was like someone pushed PAUSE for 10 seconds and when they pushed the button again, I still couldn't speak. I liked the Rin/Kohaku pairing a lot and the silent safeguarding of Sessy a lot. This is truly a nice piece, a great read, and a new addition to my FAVORITE section! Keep up the good work!

(Grabs tissue and blows nose loudly) That was so sweet. I love how you always give the characters a certain realness to them. I'll bet Sesshoumaru would be that stubborn that he'd never admit his feelings of love to a human, (I guess it runs in the family) but damn would I love to smack him silly for it!(Not that I'd even be able to reach him.) Well it was a terrific fic! Even if it was short it still gave me cutesy little butterflies in my tummy! I like these HTML tag thingys, they're Fun! (Begins to play with one.)

Oh! Sessho Maru is sooo STUPID!!! and racist! hehehe.. He should have just been with Rin AND the other chick, him and his "Honor" I'm glad we Americans have virtually none whatsoever. I mean honestly, I was never taught about honor I only learned about it probably watching anime- pretty pathetic. Oh well enough babbling- good little shorty fic

It was short and good (both versions) I like the longer version a bit more, simply because it provides more details, and makes it a bit easier to understand. Either way, I am amazed at your ability to create such a loving story, but also bringing a tear to my eye with the enevitable, and tragic, yet beautifully written ending. : Will you bear my children?
