wow, what a story! you gave us everything in the end, even the opening for a new story. i love sequels. i love the kinder, gentler sesshoumaru--who is still very much in character. i bow to your great ability to give him those qualities, while still keeping him as the great ice lord that we all know and love. and now he really has his own ice lady to match his outward personality. i anticipate seeing the fiery interactions between the two of them. while i can't wait to see where the next story goes, i would like to thank you for all the enjoyment that this story has brought to my life.

I get it! I read the story again. By putting mokomoko (you know that means fluff) around Snegura (sp?), he had accepted her as his mate. *dancing around on tip-toes!* I can't wait to see what fate you are giving the jewel. I'm so excited! ^_^ Until the next installment..Snow ^_^

You may be able to find some examples of Kyudo on youtube. It's worth a try. I've seen some interesting training films in the martial arts...going back to reading now. ^_^ Snow

This is a great story. I love the action. Also, your original character is a great match for Sesshoumaru. Even her father was killed by the dragon. I like her. Oh no! Kagome can't go home? What happened to the jewel? Did it really explode? I've forgotten much of what I've read, so I'm going to have fun going back and reading it again. ^_^ Can't wait til the next chapter! Great job! Loving this story! Great plot and inclusion of all the major characters... and I especially love making Kagome stronger and giving her better skills. I hope in the next chapter she will use those skills and kick some serious butt!! :) I like the new character and hope she is a tough lady too! Curious if you are going to have any lemons regarding Inuyasha and Kags?? Mating marks and all that? The scent thing as a mating thing was different considering nearly all the other stories mention biting marks, etc. Interesting, can't wait for another chapter!!

your battle scene was written so well that i felt as if i was in the middle of it. it's not an easy thing to do. you kept all characters accounted for, and left no one out--except shippou. i love reading a good fight scene as much as a good angsty or fluffy scene. they all carry strong emotion. now i have to wait to see who sesshoumaru saves, and who he leaves for the others to rescue. this story continues to be one of my favorites. thank you for your dedication to it, and all the hard work you have put into it.

kouga's reaction to kagome was quite interesting. something one thought he realized in the manga when he took his leave after kikyo's death was kagome's devotion to inuyasha. ♣ i'm too lazy to go back and read right now to see if you based this mainly on the anime or manga for the weapons/attacks/strengths everyone possesses, but one would think that kongoushouha or meidou zantegshuha might have been more effective than kaza no kizu since neither is an elemental attack? for that matter wouldn't have kouga used goraishi? (i realize that if you have based everything on the anime, half of the above would not exist) ♦ i understand the need for them to keep the knowledge of real location of the jewel from the enemy but one is concerned that kagome, in an effort to save rin will spill the beans. ♠ exciting chapter, much suspense. ♥ a pleasure, ginny

the intensity built so much in this chapter. by the end, i was on the edge of my seat! i love ginta and hakkaku. they always add a laugh. and the relationship between rin and shippou is so cute. now that sesshoumaru is on his way back, all the main characters will be gathered together, once again. this is a truly amazing story. i can't wait until the next chapter! good luck with the move, and thank you for finding the time to continue this wonderful story.

by shielding them off from the outside world she only prevented him from confronting her enemy sooner. so, yasha can't catch some 'alone time' with kagome after such a long journey; she needs her sleep anyway. . . i read a fanfiction somewhere that i will now quote from: "do not meddle in the affairs of dragons as you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup." i am so sorry i didn't write the fanfic and author's names down so i could give credit. will it be yasha's tachi to the rescue? ~ thank you, ginny

As a friend of mine would say, this is turning into one big fuster cluck! I'm looking forward to seeing how you sort things out. The reunion between Kagome and Inuyasha was very sweet and very well done, in my opinion...too bad they only had that much time before they were back into the fray. Oh well, right? At least this way Kagome gets to see everyone again right away like she wanted to. I can't wait to see what happens when all these paths converge! Cheers!

as all parties converge... the biggest threat they have to worry about is of the dragon variety, we haven't seen them in a while. one hopes kagome has truly assumed complete control of her powers and that of the jewel as you have been setting things up for a major conflict. one also hopes the new 'lady of the west' doesn't have anything against human/youkai interaction and hanyou, if not she'll have to get used to it. . . quite an epic tale. ~ delighted, ginny

wow, 1000 hits? really? congrats! this story is so good, more people need to read it. i loved the emotion of the reunion at the beginning of the chapter. the feeling of rightness came shining through. now they can all be reunited, and set things right, again. i cant wait to see the conflict you bring their way before that happens, though. thank you for another great chapter.

Wow. . . I was impressed with this. I was not expecting something this good. The characters, the storyline. Now . . . I am riveted to it, and I will definitely be checking in for more updates. just did a marathon read of your story...wbk recommended it, and I value her opinion, so I knew this would definately be a story worth reading!! This is a wonderful story, and the reunion of Inuyasha and Kagome in the last chapter had me all squishy!!! this is how the manga SHOULD have ended...but I have a feeling you will continue to manipulate each of these beloved characters a bit more. The tension you have built within the seperate "groups" leading up to this is spectacular, and I have a sneaking suspicion that something big is about to happen concerning all the major players....I wonder, if Rin's devestation over her Lord finding a bride will send her into the arms of Kohaku, perhaps? Will she be the key to healing his battered soul? And will Koga take the hint now that Kagome is officially "scent marked" by Inuyasha.....I eagerly await the next chapter to see if my assumptions are correct!!!

snegura seems to be a good match for sesshoumaru. both think they will go into this union without emotions. i have a feeling that you have other plans for them, eventually. right now, they both see themselves as only using the other. i can't wait to see what going on back at the castle. thanks for a great chapter.

now rin is in danger just because she was with inuyasha. kohaku is on his way to a war between demons, and sango and miroku will be with him. inuyasha and kagome are still trying to find they way back to each other. i can feel a climctic moment on the way! you are building the tension and the anxiety so well! i can't wait to see where the next chapter takes them. thank you for a great post.

kohaku has always been a tragic figure. to take such a gentle spirit, and use it for such darkness has always seemed like the most tragic storyline of the manga. i'm glad that you incorporated it into your story. his very soul has been violated, and the simple act of remembering will not heal him. sango and miroku will have their hands full, now. not just having to help her brother, but with a baby on the way. thank you for a great chapter.

it does seem to always end with kagome... she is pivotal in her powers and with the jewel. even takahashi-sama has done that with the manga. . . it's exciting that she has found the clue to her power and protection... like yasha's dad programmed into tessaiga the need to protect and the secret to yasha's strength. . . lets hope kagome's friend switches his affections to ayumi. ~ a delight, ginny

the reciprocity of kagome being stronger when she's defending inuyasha--even if it's only in her mind--was a great addition to this chapter. the theme of protecting someone important to you has been a part of the inuyasha story throughout. you worked it in your story without being obvious or contrived. i loved this chapter, and the revelations it brought. thank you for posting it.

i feel sorry for sesshoumaru. now he will have to feal with a hormonal girl and his mother at the same time. how long will it take him to discover rin's feelings towards him, and his own reciprocal feelings? and what will his mother do to cause trouble when she finds he has the human still involved in his life? inuyasha and kagome are now the only members of the core group that are on their own. i can't wait to see how you get them back together. thank you for a great post.

I love your story! It is something new and different. It has Rin and Sesshoumaru in it, my favorite couple! I am not sure if you are a shipper, but do you plan on progressing their relationship in you story? Your writing is very detail, I can imagine all the actions the characters are doing in my head. Excellent. After 10.000plus InuYasha fics it's hard to find one that brings truly new thoughts, canon interpretations and story lines. You manage to do all that. Even though to me, everyone is completely in character, there are new views to their personality that fit well with everything we know and yet helps to flesh them out some more. Your Rin is a favourite of mine. Also, kudos on the brilliant use of original characters. Usually I try to stay clear of them (Beware of the Mary Sue!-mentality), but the ones in your fic don't come over mary-sueish at all. Having devoured all 11 chapters in one go, I'd really love to see more of this.
