i feel sorry for sesshoumaru. now he will have to feal with a hormonal girl and his mother at the same time. how long will it take him to discover rin's feelings towards him, and his own reciprocal feelings? and what will his mother do to cause trouble when she finds he has the human still involved in his life? inuyasha and kagome are now the only members of the core group that are on their own. i can't wait to see how you get them back together. thank you for a great post.

I love your story! It is something new and different. It has Rin and Sesshoumaru in it, my favorite couple! I am not sure if you are a shipper, but do you plan on progressing their relationship in you story? Your writing is very detail, I can imagine all the actions the characters are doing in my head. I like how your story is up to date with the manga. I also like your shout out to Resmiranda. Looking forward to your update!

Excellent. After 10.000plus InuYasha fics it's hard to find one that brings truly new thoughts, canon interpretations and story lines. You manage to do all that. Even though to me, everyone is completely in character, there are new views to their personality that fit well with everything we know and yet helps to flesh them out some more. Your Rin is a favourite of mine. Also, kudos on the brilliant use of original characters. Usually I try to stay clear of them (Beware of the Mary Sue!-mentality), but the ones in your fic don't come over mary-sueish at all. Having devoured all 11 chapters in one go, I'd really love to see more of this.

i've never before seen the parallels between inuyasha's life and rin's life quite as clearly as you pointed them out. it looks like sesshoumaru was trying to right a worng in his life by taking rin in. you made me feel inuyasha's desolation over the seperation from kagome, and kagome's anticipation of a breakthrough in being able to reunite with her friends. for a chapter that at first seemed to be mostly developmental, there was a lot of content. thank you for a wonderful chapter

this was a great chapter. i could feel inuyasha and kagome's desolation over their forced seperation. i could feel sango's joy over hearing news of her brother. i love it when a story is good enough to make me feel. the only problem with the flow was at the beginning of the scene with sango. 'the celebration feast that commenced their stay' made me read it over three times before i found out what was bothering me. the dinner itself can't begin their stay; it can, however, mark the commencement of their stay. it may be a small point, but it made me stop in my reading. thank you for posting this wonderful chapter.

your story kept me involved from the start to the point it's at. i love the way you kept the characters in character. you have a good take on their motivations. the flow of the story never lags, but it doesn't feel rushed, either. i have added you to my alert list, and will be looking forward to future chapters. thank you for sharing this wonderful story.

nice to see them together, the scenes were sweet, emotional. . . one wonders what is up with the well and the jewel. i would have wanted to travel together and not gone separately from the beginning. it would be a shame if they were stuck on opposite sides with little hope to unite although yasha would have a better chance of surviving to her time than she would if she was stuck in the past and him in the future. . . eloquently written, well described. so far in the story i am worried they won't end up together, i am emotionally invested. ~ thank you, ginny
