Ears or no, the writing is top notch. Enjoying the dangerous way her mother is pushing the clear attraction between them. I like the talk of "base" and his accelerated healing does point to demonic heritage, but I'll be patient and wait for more. He'd better hope "big brother" doesn't come with to pick him up!

Fun! I like the way her family adjusts to everything. It's always amusing. Kagome's Mom rocks. Can I take it there's something hiding his ears? They haven't been mentioned so either they're hidden or you've chosen to make him more human? Kagome and her Mom would've been all over that while he was out, after all.
