I'm truly crying as I write this, oh my lord. You are so true and simple words and phrases can't show my tears or express my feelings. I can't help but show remorse, for I lost my blood grandfather to skin cancer and almost the smae fate had risen on my aunt but fortunetly didn't. I have looked for so many ways to cope but I haven't found one.......youv'e helped me more than you know. PLEASE e-mail me at bellevue1991@aol.com or lightbuttyfly8@aol.com THANK YOU!!!!!

Do you know that gut wrenching feeling when something so sad is presented to you? That is going, in waves, through my chest. I love this story, it's under my favorites list on my browser, and is the first story I show to people when referring them to mediaminer. Thank you so much for writing something so true to the actualy process of cancer, it runs in my family, breast cancer to be exact, and many people laugh at it because of where it originates. No one really gets how real it is, until you experience it. 10/10 with not a blink of an eye, this is flawless, and yet, not far from what is actually experienced. Thank you once again, for showing the world how real this is, and just how much it hurts.

::cries:: This is so sad...but it's so heart touching, i'm sorry to hear about your family. No one should go through that so much. You did a wonderful job on carring out the main message.

This was absolutely beautiful the emotions were raw and completely realistic you evoked sympathy from me especially when Vegeta was crying. The ending was extremely powerful and i loved it.

Rule In Section 2, number 164, Part C of Rules For Being A Fanfictionist And/Or Reviewer "You are not allowed to Flame any Angst and/or Drama stories that come from personal experiences. If the Story was poorly written then keep your mouth shut and do not comment at all." See? Its in the rules!

This is extremely touching. I actually cried while reading it. We've all lost love ones, never forgetting them. The way you've written this fic is beautiful. The emotions you feel while reading it can just tear your heart apart. Congratulations on a fic well done. One of the best ones I've read in a long time.

Such a sad yet happy story. One life ends and two begin. I can't believe Vegeta held his own against Chi-Chi! I bet he had to change his pants after, though lol. *smiles*

Amazing. I have been a very large fan of the Dragonball universe for years...and this story not only touched my heart...it added a depth of emotion and feeling that Akira Toriyama never did. Truly...a very beautiful piece.

I don't know much about DBZ but that doesn't matter. This is a really well written story. Sad at the end. It did a good job in getting me into the story. It's gotten me a little interested in reading more DBZ fics so I can read more about the characters you have in your fic.

I truly enjoyed this well-written, extremely touching one shot. Not being a big DBZ fan, I initially had some doubts, but once I got started, I easily fell into the story. I'll admit it now, I cried. This was a very bittersweet story. Good though.

I don't really know very much about DBZ, not even what the two lead characters look like...but in the context of this fic, that really doesn't matter. A very skilled and emotional work; my favorite kind in that it's a real-life situation for characters that you have made truly three-dimensional. To someone like me who doesn't even know the anime, you have made Bulma and Vegeta into a real-life married couple, with their personality quirks, unique ways of relating to one another, and emotions that although often unsaid, are never unfelt. I too have lost family members to breast cancer; it's an insidious epidemic. Congratulations on making this killer of thousands of women into something vivid and personal through your story of one woman's struggle. I don't have much time in my life to read fanfics anymore (ah, the joys of grown-up employment!), so I'm very happy when serendipity leads me to a skilled author. I'd like to ask your permission to nominate this story for MM.org's Featured Fanfiction category. No, this isn't payback; I don't do that, since I have this sense of integrity about what fanfics I recommend to others. This is just about simple acknowledgement of a polished and poignant work.

Once again, another AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL fic. I'm so sorry for your loss, and although I've never lost someone close to me to cancer, I can see how terribly hard it would be. Your story was really touching, and it did a good job at making me shed some tears. I only wish that everyone could read this story and see how beautifully you showed that people are still people even with a sickness.

Very powerful and well-written. I, too, wrote a fic
about Piccolo dying that went along the same lines
as this one. It would seem we have both experienced
the horrors of illness in our families. Writing is a
great way to express yourself, and this proves it.
*wipes the tears from her eyes*
