I thouroughly enjoyed this fic. There aren't a lot of stories about this time period. I especially loved the end where she wanted to and he didn't. lol!

When I read the summary I didn't expect to be enchanted by such a heartwarming gem as this sweet story is. Your conveyance of Vegeta's feelings towards his family is beautifully done. I'm in awe of how wonderfully written and put-together this fic is. It's simply excellent. Keep up the good work. I hope to read more stories from you.

beautifully written, of course. your use of detail creates nice visual imagery. i know nothing about dbz or fanfic, but it is an interesting story. i have to say, though, that i don't like this vegeta guy very much. the wife is clearly you/deb. congrats on your first published fanfic.

A great burst into the fanfic scene and jump out of the ivory tower by an overly educated and broke academic! Welcome and thanks for putting a poignant shot in the arm to the fanfic genre.

Ahh, what a beautiful, satisfying fic! From this one story, I feel that I 'know' these characters, and I love them. And the last paragraph is just wonderful - I love simple endings that neatly sum up and resolve the focus of the story. PERFECT Mother's Day fic, Deb!

This is a beautiful fic, Deb! I was a bit hesitant to believe it was your first fanfic, but with your additional writing experience, I guess it was only a matter of time before you merged the two hobbies together. I think you captured the characters, as well as the essence of their relationship, beautifully. Now I know there are lots of other ideas running around in your head - I look forward to all that you'll share with us!

breeder sex is so boring. doesn't this guy have a hot alien boyfriend out there somewhere? what does HE think about his lover's decline into straight human sappiness. i think vegeta's concerns about his current and future family roles should drive him to some nice hot male/male sex (believe me, it happens). and you've already got him on a rooftop. i've been there. and aren't these characters supposed to be super human? i wanted more nonhuman stuff--present day, not just remembering amputated tails. i need more action. can't trunks vanquish some horrible fetus-eating monster on the way back from the store and still get his mom's ice cream to her in a timely manner, no one the wiser? enough of the personal perspectives on pregnancy. oh and by the way "The doctor was droning on about the obvious, as if the fool WERE bored with his own lack of expertise." WERE, debbiechan. look it up. it's subjunctive.

That was beautiful. Really, it was hear warming. It's a tricky thing to portray Vegeta as caring for his wife and chidren deeply without making him OOC and you navigated that treacherous road with ease. And thank you for the dedication. We're thrilled you joined us.

Wow! Debbie... I have no words for this other than - breathtaking! I was completely captured from begining to end. You nailed both characters so absolutely that I stopped reading and started seeing instead. You've left me speechless. *Pounces on Vegeta and the ice-cream before Bulma gets back.*
