yeah! another inspiring chapter. i'm really enjoying sesshy's subtle sense of humor in this one. it has to be in there behind that stoic face, he's making fun of everyone. a bit more peace for our group and a place where inuyasha can relax a bit, around people who accept him for who he is. i think you've done a tremendous job keeping him in character in this one. he's more open and loving with kagome and his feelings for her...to her. he still has that wonderfully cocky attitude towards miroku. and for a minute there i thought the idea of jaken being all curled up sleeping on a futon and being covered up by rin was cute! nooo! jaken is so not cute! you're messing with my mind. and i'm very much liking the subtle romance development for miroku and sango. both of them have a lot to learn about the opposite sex and i think they would be progressing slower than inu and kags. kags has the knowledge of sex ed from the future and inuyasha is a dog demon...instinct comes in handy sometimes. i can't wait to see what lies ahead! thanks for taking time to review me!

Yay! fantastic story! whoo! i should have left reviews for all the other chapters-(did i comment the prequel? i can't remember...lol hmmm... have to check.)-when they were updated but the story is GLORIOUS! can't wait until the next chap.! Will they still be in the village next chap. or will they have moved on? either way,it will be great and im looking forward to it!

I loved the first story, and I was so happy to find you have written a sequel! I have nothing to nit-pick, I'm so happy! You are a wonderful writer, keep up the good work! I am curious...I know Rin is currently way too young for anything to happen between her and Sesshomaru, but could you possibly write just a little bit more about their growing bond? :D it seems to me that you are leaning towards a (older, of course)Rin/Sess pairing, and I'd love to read more about them. I love this chapter!! Thank you!! Thank you!!! Literary Goddess for another exciting installment!! Rin falling asleep and landing on her dishes was funny! Thank you for having Jaken join them. And Kirara had to mew to remind them of her request for some meat. Too cute!! Inuyasha is craving some meat done rare is he? I wonder if Sesshoumaru will explain to him the cravings? Or due to Inuyasha's youkai awakening will he start wanting some youkai foods? Glomps onto her posable action figure of Inuyasha and huggles. I was furious at that dumb priest for harming Kagome and was secertly hoping for InuYasha to gut the moron, but what you had written was an even better end for him. First eatten by a Youkai then sent to Hell in a "gift wrap" a la snake youkai by Sesshoumaru. It was touching to see that Inuyasha and Kagome could be respectable around others. And for having being mature enough Kagome to understand the reasoning behind why they couldn't be affectionate without her blowing up. I loved it when she ripped into the jerk the way Inuyasha would blow up. Poor priest, can't help but pity him, his hatred had driven him insane in his final moments. The touching scene with putting Rin to bed was so sweet!! I think I went into sugar shock.. giggles.. What a range of emotions this chapter went through it was all prefect! Nothing was more or less than the other aspects in the chapter!! What a delightful and exquiste talent!! I simply cannot rave enough about it!! Though I think there was a typo... with this line : Your miko helped my old fried, Ougon- I first thought of Oden. Kagome loves that meal, and it is fried. Then I realized oh meant friend. I started laughing at my thought. The WAFF in the chapter so good!! I enjoyed the understanding of the Inn Keeper. He is a really good man. An honourable person. KUDOS!! to the villagers and KUDOS!!!! to you for writing the story!! I love the way you mould and develope the characters so richly as you write. There are no lapse, no gaps. It is such a smooth transition. WOW!! I can't wait for the next chapter!! Please keep up the most excellent work!! Again thank you for sharing this story with us!!

ahhh, this was my break from taxes. yeah, i wait until the last minute. i have to say that as horrible a fate as death is, the priest got what he deserved. he just couldn't get beyond his hatred and so many more innocent people and demons would have died if he continued on. miroku gave him a chance, a choice and he couldn't see past his blindness. and it was a quick end. i think staying in this village a day or two might do the group some good. it will allow them to relax around people who accept them for who they are, even if they don't know their whole story. and sesshy made a joke! i love it! i think the demon lord is safe for one night but if they saty another i don't think he'll be so lucky. i'm curious as to what else naraku is plotting. word must have reached him by now of a dark miko traveling with a monk, slayer, and hanyou. he's sure to have something else up his sleeve. and i wonder what's going on with kikyou. i don't believe that she's just wander off completely and leave them alone for the reast of the journey. i'm looking forward to a chaper in the modern era too. one must be coming up with in a few chapters since kagome has to go back to attend tests (yes?). although she certainly hasn't gotten any studying done during their travels. then they get to worry about grandpa! until your next installment. this chapter was so full of detail and emotion i loved it. your minion awaits!

i felt bad fo the snake. seriously. was it trying to make up for something it was lacking with the placement of that last jewel shard? did he have to show all the other snakes who was 'the big man'? no, really, great chapter. you do just as well with the details of the action chapters as with the romance. although i guess the romance part could be action too! i was surprised the priest let miroku stay with him to bless the dead but then again it seemed the priest was going to do a half assed job at it. with everyone occupied by the feast and the priest not invited and it seems remaining in the village, i'm curious to see what sort of trouble he's cooking up for the group. is he going to do something to them during the night, he certainly has enough power to cause some trouble, or will he simply slink off and wreak havoc somewhere else? beautiful work as always and i eagarly await the next installment.

You are doing a great job. I enjoy your story and look forward to new chapters. Now, for my small observation. I am an archer and the proper term for putting an arrow to the bowstring is 'nocked'. That is because the notch at the fletched end of the arrow is called a 'nock'. I know, it's nit-picking. But I thought that you might want to know that little bit of trivia.
