Great story, though I'm not a fan of Kagome and Sesshomaru pairings, but this story intrigued me. So far it hasn't disappointed.

Reviewed By: Ashley N. On: October 28, 2008 23:05 EDT Comment/Review: This is absolutely the best fan fiction I've ever read. Ever. Seriously. Honestly, it's probably one of my very favorite stories. Which is why this is my second time reading it. I don't know if I left a review the first time through, so that's why I'm leaving one now. I don't really know what to say other than this story touched me, and honestly, I think that's the highest compliment a reader can pay an author. I know, without a doubt, that I'll remember and love this story forever. In fact, in a few years, I'll probably find myself re-reading it once again so I can recall the reason why it captured me so much in the first place. Thanks for putting so much time and love into these characters. You truly made them your own--which is hard to do in a fanfic and truly speaks volumes of your talent. You're amazing. ;o)

That was the best Inuyasha fanfic I've ever read. So detailed and emotional. You had me in tears. My face is still soaked. You should so be a novelist or send this Rumiko Takahashi. The perfect ending for Inuyasha. My heart truly hurts right now. "And then Sesshoumaru bends his face to hers and kisses her deeply as he steps into the sky." That got me. I exploded into tears. I'm going to stop ranting now. Lovely Story. Your amazing. Keep it up.

It really was worth pursuing and delighting in. I have read so many fanfiction (and I almost hesitate to say that, as this work seems so much more than that) stories and nothing even comes close to this. The idea of continuing Kagome's journey in such a fashion, and the twists, the turns, the little unexpected bits -- a plot that is really excellent. I applaud you! I really felt connected to the characters and the journey, and the prose flowed right and the pacing was just ... perfect. I love the casual, often witty and seemingly easy humour in this, the natural speech patterns and to and fro of dialogue. I felt so many emotions reading this, I ran the whole gamut, from amusement to that painful ache, and so on. Thank you for sharing. Thank you so much for the joy of reading this.

Only after reading this story about... eight times. All the way through. I'm totally serious, and a little embarassed. I didn't even read Good Omens that many times, and I can actually pick that up and carry it around with me. Assume much praise and adoration, by the way, because I also lurk frequently on your lj, and your writing is fantastic everywhere. Aaand... on with the question. (I feel like a bit of a killjoy.) Why didn't Sesshomaru and Kagome have a child? Probably the medicines no longer exist, but they have c-sections now, don't they? It would have been cute for them to have a little hanyou kid with fluffy ears(aside from the whole breaking cover thing, but honestly, Sesshomaru got away with it.) ...oh god. The kid would have looked just like Inuyasha. Shit. Did I just answer my own question?

When I first read the summary I was expecting some Sess/Rin gone bad where Kagome came in to comfort. You don't know how amazed I am that that was not it. This had to be one of the most in character, engaging fictions I've ever read. More astonishing was the fact you managed to keep it away from all of the other cliched peices where Kagome become eternal, or could be revived with Tenseiga. I finished this in one day, and for such a long work you must be able to tell how engaging that was. I look up to you for your amazing talents, and would be overjoyed to see you as a real author with published works. You could go so far. Congrats, on an amazing fanfiction.

I don't know how you wrote this entire story. I took me two days of straight reading to get through it! I read it before, so this is my second time, and i got to focus on the depth of the word choice and the plot lines and little added bonuses in the chapters. I appreciated it more this time than i did the first time. Great job. Your writing skills are awe inspiring. If it were possible, I would suggest making this into a novel, but that would be stealing, huh? :D
