Title: Ain't nothing but magick

Author/s: Raine, Cristyn Lebeau, Ardin, Seistsu, The Crazy Saiyan Stalker (J'Dee).

Rating: G = General so far...

Genre: Up to the authors... so far interactive!! :D

Author's Note: I'm basing this round no saga/s. It's purely AU only because- now that we have some crazy author's in this time line to change things to their own needs. But Trunks and Goten I'm saying are grown up well in their late teens. Also you should know I only wrote the parts with my character in them... the other characters are NOT my creation. So if you want to use them ask the respective authors not me.

The Disclaimer:

You know the drill... this is so people don't sue us... we have no rites to DBZ though we like to pretend we do. But what author don't?

"Meeting the Demon King"

"AAAAH!!!" she screamed as she came falling from the sky, landing onto a hill of dirt shortly after and rolling all the way downhill until she landed with a thud on the ground which, thankfully, was somewhat soft. She coughed and sat up, checking herself for any bruises or cuts.
"Damn it! When I said I wanted to make a unique entrance, I didn't mean falling flat on my ass in dirt!" she muttered to no one in particular. She thought back to how she got here in the first place...

It was another boring weekday and after catching the bus, was at home changing into some sweat shorts and a white T-shirt. She turned on the t.v., eager to watch a new DBZ tape her dad had surprisingly bought for her from supermarket. After receiving the first two Buu tapes, she was riveted. Her dark brown eyes sparkled as the screen came to life and the tape proceeded to play. The usual advertisement came on for some new anime movie coming out and she fast-forwarded.
"Damn, as stupid as it sounds, I'd love to be in DBZ," she thought to herself. And, like some corny kid flick, the screen began to glow a white color.
"You've got to be.." was all she said as the blinding light filled the room and she found herself in a white void. "Kidding." She looked around when a giant screen popped up in front of her, making her scream. She always was a bit jumpy.
"Welcome to the Aniverse! Please select the alternate world you'd like to be in," a loud computer voice filled the void. Her eyes went wide, "Shut up.." Suddenly, a whole list of familiar anime titles filled the screen.
"Shut up is not listed," the computer voice said. She quickly shook her head, "No, I was just reacting to what you said." Not receiving a response, she scanned the screen.
"Ranma 1/2... Grappler Baki.. Angel Sanctuary.. Sailor Moon-Ooh! I always wanted to be in that! No..wait..no no, I might end up in Beryl's place without powers, and I doubt a black senshi's ever been heard of," she thought out loud, ruefully.
"Pokemon..OOh! Wait, no. Pokemon training takes WAY too much time that I don't have the patience to stomach and I've already given up on it after they added more pokemon. @.@ I had enough trouble keeping track of the first 150," she said, sighing.
"DBZ!!! DBZ!! D-B-Z!!!" she yelled without thinking, jumping up and down like an idiot. Every DBZ fan wanted to experience living in the Z world.
"Dragonball Z selected. Which saga?" the computer voice said before listing DBZ's famous sagas: Saiiyan saga, Frieza Saga, Android Saga, Cell Saga, Teen Gohan Saga and Buu Saga.
"Are you NUTS?! DBZ-GT! AFTER it!" the girl said quickly, already recalling the destruction that took place in the Buu saga.
"Confirmed. Race," the computer voice spoke already giving a list of all kinds of alien races and human races along with sub-articles that had descriptions.
"A saiiyan, duh. And I'd like to keep my skin tone the way it is," she said bluntly, worried that if she hadn't said so, she'd be any race but the one she actually was.
"Confirmed." She didn't notice it until she fell flat on her but that she had a tail as it curled around her waist and "waved" at her.
"Damn.." she muttered. "^^ This is TOO cool!!"
"Power level," the computer voice spoke.
"Well that isn't hard, I want to be powerful enough to reach level 3, but not end up balding or losing my eyebrows. Oh, and I want the training to be able to fight and fly and control my ki and stuff," she said. After a long pause and a sweat drop on the side of the screen, the voice spoke again, "Confirmed."
"Physical appearance."
"Hmm.." she thought with an evil grin. After giving a long detailed description, the computer voiced a "confirmed".
"Entrance."
"Entrance? Oh! You mean how I show up? Hmm..gimme something unique," she thought, already fantasising a bunch of ways to appear. But then she realised how stupid her last words were as the blinding light returned and she found herself falling from the sky.

"I knew I should've mentioned my acrophobia," she mumbled as she proceeded to dust herself off. Eventually giving up, she decided to test her newfound powers and spun at an incredible speed, sending the dirt flying in all directions but herself. When she stopped, she had to hold her head to stop the spinning.
"Whoa boy.." she said as the earth came right-side up again. She couldn't help but smile as she admired her figure, that annoying "pudge" was gone and in it's place was a flat stomach. She looked at her usually thick thighs which were now thinner and well-toned. Her normally shoulder-length two-tone hair was now down to her waist and the brown/black split of her hair from roots to tip was more visible with the sun out. Instead of dark brown, her eyes were now a clearly visible light brown and her skin was now flawless, no marks or bruises or anything. (>.< No, she wasn't beaten or anything like that! Sadists.)
"WHOOO!!" she screamed, jumping up and down. She couldn't help but smile at the outfit bestowed on her as well. Black, shiny leather pants and matching stiletto boots (those are so sexy). Her top was a black, sleeveless shirt that was see-through at the top just above the crack of her chest. On her arms were fishnet-sleeves and fingerless gloves. She put her hands on her hips and lifted her nose into the air, breathing in the fresh air and to, hopefully, sense another ki.

He let his ki aura flare down after completely drying him off and in a split-second, was in his usual attire again: white turban and cape and the usual purple fighting gi. After the Evil Shenron incident, two last wishes were made: to bring back Goku and Piccolo. After that, the dragon took off and they were all left in peace. The 7-foot Namekian stood, a towering figure, noticing that something wasn't right. A disturbance in the natural balance in this world, this dimension. He looked upward, immediately picking up a high ki. It was way too high to belong Krillin, Yamcha or Tien. It was high enough to combat his ki. Though it would've been wise to contact the other Z senshi, he wouldn't know where to look for them.

The ki was getting closer. It was a shame she was so new at this, then she'd be able to tell who it was. Powerful, but she'd be able to handle whoever it was; and it was obviously one of the Z senshi. She smiled giddily, revelling in the idea alone of meeting one. She took a deep breath to calm her nerves, she didn't want to look like some dumb, goofy teenager.

There 'he' was, Piccolo thought, finally reaching the stranger, but remaining high in the air. He couldn't get a good look at 'him', so he didn't know what to expect. Without another word, he descended.

She looked up, squinting her eyes to get a better look. Her eyes suddenly widened as she realised who it was and started to get even more giddy.
"Piccolo! It's Piccolo! Whooo!" she thought happily. Of course, Piccolo being the strong and silent type, he'd probably brush her off as a nuisance. She sighed, she'd get her hands no him one way or another. For as long as she could remember, she had a crush on him. Of course, being a kid, she saw nothing wrong with finding a cartoon character cute. Since part of her was still a child now, she still saw nothing wrong with it, though she was closet-case at school. She smirked as he landed a good 10 feet from her. Her hands rose to place themselves on her hips and she tilted her head slightly to the right. He didn't look too good, unnerved actually.
"Hey there," she merely said and stood her ground. The only members of the opposite sex she could relax around were guy-friends, and Piccolo was far from that.
"Who are you?" he asked in his usual, serious tone.
"The name's Tsunami," she said crisply. She would've used her author name, Raine, but it sounded so...innocent and was starting to feel a little plain compared to this one.
"Tsunami huh? Well, Tsunami, you must be new in town because I don't believe we've met," Piccolo said.
"Oh I already know who you are, Piccolo. And don't worry, I'm not the enemy. Just because I'm saiy.."
"Saiiyan?" Piccolo's imaginary brow quirked. "Oop," Tsunami thought, also mentally cursing herself. She wanted to get closer to the big green lug, not scare him off.
"Why should I believe you?" Then she thought quickly,

"Because I would've killed you already if I were. I already know you're no longer connected with the dragon balls and I have no interest in killing period because I get light headed at the sight of too much blood."
Piccolo was reacted in surprise to her comment. She was strange. Of course, he thought all women were, but she was different. She wasn't loud and cocky like that Bulma woman or Goku's wife.
"Why are you here? I didn't detect a capsule or a space ship, how did you get here?" he seemed to be interrogating her now and she could only sigh in disappointment. This was gonna be harder than she thought. Kuso, she couldn't tell him how she arrived because she still didn't know the whole story herself. And now that she thought about it, what was she doing here? She had the looks and the powers she desired, but what would she do with them? Where would she go? Where would she live? She had a high ki, but no money. Piccolo could tell some kind of conflict was raging her thoughts and looked on curiously.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," she said, trying to maintain the calm and collected demeanour she had been holding. If she didn't think of something to save herself, she might end up fighting her favorite Z character! Without another word, she powered up and zoomed into the sky without thinking.
"Oh God..." she muttered, acrophobia finally claiming her as she got a good look below her. Her stomach jumped, her breathing heightened and her arms trembled slightly. Then everything went dark.

Piccolo quickly followed her into the air and caught her as she passed out and fell from the sky. He blinked, looking her over for any bruises or cuts and saw none. Strange, females.

It felt like a long drive to the next town over, Goku seemed so focussed while he drived, so serious. His expression blank- but that's really no different than most of the times. He looked at me briefly as we drove. I felt nervous I prayed to every God I could think of that wouldn't maim me, for him not to ask me a question before I blurted out everything I'd done wrong. Why do you ask would I do such a stupid thing? It's just who I am. When I'm round anyone I find attractive I babble alot. In fact too much. And truthfully Goku is a real cutie. But I could never pull him away from Chi-chi. Now Goten- that's another story... but what if another author beat me to him. That would be unfair! Kami how I love that guy, or Yamcha. I have a fixation for guys with short spiky hair.

Goku turned the windscreen wipers on as the rain started and I looked out a head of us. "I'm pulling in to get gas shortly." he said.

I nodded as he looked at me again.

"You're very quiet."

"Uh yeah. Nothing really to say." I replied.

"I never caught your name." He said.

I blinked. "My name?"

"Yeah. I'm Goku."

I opened my mouth to speak. But what could I say? That the name's I were most commonly known by would give away that I was totally dragonball z obsessed. I mean c'mon The Crazy Saiyan Stalker. That would just freak Goku out, or Yamcha's Saiyan Babe, uh-huh cha right considering Yamcha would of NEVER heard of me!! I closed my mouth. I could always be honest.

"So what's your name?" Goku asked interrupting my trailed off mind.

"Jera." I replied. 'You stupid girl, why so honest?' I scolded myself mentally.

Goku looked at me and he smiled. "I've never heard that name before."

"It's Scandinavian. A rune actually. The name itself means change." I replied.

"Change." Goku repeated and he nodded.

He didn't ask me for a last name. Which I felt was odd. But for the record it's Dagan. J'Dee is a nickname I get called- not Jermain Dupri's J.D. Though he is cool. I prefer that than Geri or Heels! I'm not going to get in to that story- least not yet.

The car pulled up to the gas station and he got out. I got out as well to stretch my legs. I instantly saw the weird looks the gas attendant gave us and I smirked.

'Does it look that bad pal?' I thought. I must of looked like I was some sort of high school skirt he'd picked up to take home. Trust me I'd seen things like that- seedy things.

It was then I felt the pulling sensation of the next crazy or sane author close by I looked over and saw the town in the distance. Why Goku had chosen to stop before the town was beyond me. I watched him as he stood by the car waiting for the tank to be filled up with the petrol.

I looked back to where I felt the mysterious author awaited.

'I wonder who you are?' I thought to myself.

After a bright flash of light enveloped her in her room, Syrina looked around, where was she. Seeing something out of the corner of her eye, she grabbed it, and yelped, she looked to reveal a black tail in her hand. She brought a piece of her hair forward to see it black, she thought to herself, please let this be real.

She remembered how Gohan trained Videl to fly on the cartoon, and started practicing. After about thirty minutes she had the flying part down, she took off to find some sign of life, her tummy grumbled she was hungry, seeing a food stand she landed and reached in her pockets for some money for her apple, the vendor smiled.

"It is on the house, miss briefs." A lilac flash zoomed by her then came back,

"Syrina, dad will be pissed if we are not back to train." Trunks said.

"Alright, I'm coming, and how do you know my name?" Syrina asked.

"Sis are you alright? I'm taking you too see mom, I'm going to carry you." Trunks said picking her up.

Syrina thought to herself I get transported to the DBZ realm and the hottest guy is carrying me and he is my brother, I am having rotten luck.

Trailing the light that steamed through the canopy, I relieved my head from the tree trunk. In hand I trailed the characteristic faces of known animation, printed into paper. Honestly a battle on 'our own' earth never seemed so distant. The house offered little comfort from the mid summers heat. My body simply loving life for inventing the couch and fan. Clicking down the television remote to illuminate the screen. A vortex was seen to open, my body suddenly transferred into that of a brilliant feather. The room, the walls, like mist, vanished into the darkness behind. Being torn down a tube, a wormhole, my limbs began to alter violently. They seemed boneless, flailing about my body as if to be made of rubber. Skin slide to paler tones, hair filling out to hold a color none to common.

With a thud, and entering a room from nowhere. I found my eyes staring up leg of a large wooden table. The floor beneath my knees felt slick and free of dust. Every angel, drawn precisely. I don't think it all hit home until I rose to both feet. Placing a hand on the tabletop a pair of blurry masses stared at me from across the brown surface.
"What the hell?" Rubbing my eyes. Five fingers swivelled on the end of a very not to be faulted hand. "Gah?!" I violently stumbled backward, ending head of heels a large pottered fern. "Owwwch?" I growled at my own 'embarrassing' folly. Hearing a mix of trot-trot and thump-thump on wood. The spick and span ceiling above me was invaded with blue.
"Are you okay? How'd you get in here?" A memorable female face interrogated.
"Clumsy punk I can assure" An additional expression stole the remaining half of my view. As expected realisation came to pass. A bolt of something other than common composure, shooting down my spine. Splintering along every surface of my stupid little body. Leaping to both feet I swung up an accusing finger.
"You're--- you're--- you're!" I stammered and gulped, as both characters bound their arms. "Bloody Cartoons!"

***

Goku walked up to me and I felt his hand touch my shoulder. "You can sense it to huh? That's why you want to go that way isn't it?" He asked me.

I looked at him with such shock. 'How'd he know?' I thought.

"How can you-" I began but stopped and realised the authors themselves must of been given powers on arrival. Hence they would have a distinct energy reading that Goku and the other Z warriors would probably pick up easily. I wondered if any of the other authors had meet up with any of the other Z team.

"I sensed you didn't I?" Goku replied to my question.

My mouth dropped. "But that's-" I stopped short.

"Impossible? No you're energy just called out to me."

'That's cause this is all my fault.' I thought. 'But at least I'm not alone.'

It made me more determined to find these other authors I could pick up another one out there close by but I couldn't locate her or him easily. I then realised I was using my senses in looking for peoples distinct energy patterns.

'I wonder if I've read any of their fics?' I asked myself mentally. 'Now that would be cool.' I added in thought.

Goku looked at me strangely I realised I had been completely silent since he'd last spoken to me. I looked back at him.

'Damn he's so cute.' I thought and scolded myself mentally.

"Jera are you okay?" Goku asked.

I smiled. "Yep fine."

"Hey pal your gas is filled up." The gas attendant remarked.

Goku looked at me. "Okay wait in the car."

I nodded and Goku walked off to pay for the gas. I walked to the car and got in the passenger side and buckled up my seat belt.

Moments later Goku got in the car and he started it up and he pulled out of the gas station and began the drive towards the town.

Blake yawned as he sat back in his chair, he had been up again watching movies and messing around on the computer all night. He had gone through this for two nights already but then as he started getting into his "Seisetsu" persona, weird numbers and words began to file around the screen.

They would flash green, then blue; the pulsing was in such a rythmatic fashion that he soon felt like he was falling into the screen. The website containing Anime and other works flashed on the screen, then off, then a picture of the Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z took its place.

"How odd?" Blake mumbles, running a hand through his brown spiked-hair.

Pressing "Alt, Control, Delete" he waits for his computer to stop the insanity, which has now filled the screen blue. Nothing happens, hitting it again he suddenly sees a hole appear in the screen...

It was not in the screen, the screen itself had become a hole that gaped at him like a one-eyed blue monster. Without thinking he reaches out, his hand phasing through what screen was left and before he can pull back something seems to pull him. Before he can even mutter a single breath the world around him grew dark, he was physically falling though some sort of tunnel. The words that had been on his screen before where now circling him but before he could read them his head began to swim...

"What!?"

The earth beneath him was hard, rain had not seemed to arrive for quite a few days and it was making his back hurt. Getting up, he opened his eyes and saw a town a few miles away but it was nothing like he had ever seen before. Actually... He had. On one of those Dragon Ball Z episodes, which had been like a month ago, could this be one of those odd dreams? Suddenly without warning a small man rammed him, pain shot up his side and he fell to the ground in a heap.

"Sorry, man." A familiar voice was issued.

"Gah!" Blake struggles up, standing not to far from him was the Krillin guy from the show and the Yamcha fella.

"Sorry, Krillin's big head got in the way." Yamcha laughed his arms crossing.

"It's okay, really. But... What were you all doin'?" Blake asks, dusting himself off.

"Training of course."

"Duh, he must not know who we are Yamcha."

"We're the Z Warriors..."

"Riiiight, this is some dream..." After Blake says this a large sweatdrop appears on his forehead, "My God, what is this thing!"

***

I watched as the scenery flashed by as we drove. I was being quiet again, Goku fiddled with the radio for a bit and I looked at him.

"You look like you don't like silence." He said.

I nodded slowly. "Yeah I need sound. Weird huh? Helps me meditate better."

"Were you meditating before? You looked like you were."

I smiled. Brushing some of my hair behind my ear in an eighteen manner I shook my head. "No I was looking for them."

Goku looked at me. "They're quite a few of them out there. You know anything about that?" He looked deep in to me and I felt like I couldn't lie, and believe me I'm a great liar. I rule at lies.

"No idea." I replied and flashed a smile.

"You don't want to tell me huh? I can understand. We only just meet today."

I blinked. 'How on earth?' I thought.

Goku smiled at me. "I have a teenage son." He said as if it explained everything.

There was a long silence and I listened as the announcer on the radio was speaking about some strange political propaganda. Something about giving dinosaurs legal rites in court. I frowned at that. There would probably be a large language barrier there.

Goku looked at my expression and I felt myself look at him.

'He's a married man, he's a married man, he's a-' I thought quickly, it seemed like that scene almost from Toy Story 2 where Mr Potato Head was with the TS2 gang in the toy car travelling down the Barbie isle.

The car suddenly pulled over to the side and I watched as a lilac flash zipped past us and my eyes followed it and it zipped directly in to a large yellow bowl shaped building. My eyes focussed on the words of the building.

Capsule Corp.

The lilac flash had now stopped at the door and he looked over. My eyes locked on to his blue ones and I felt myself flush as he grinned and waved. I saw him with a girl over my shoulder and he opened the door and headed inside.

"That makes two in there." I said softly looking at Capsule Corp. There was one inside- an author. I could feel it. And that girl over Trunks shoulder, was probably another, though Trunks and Goku didn't seem to realise, I knew she had to be, I'd never seen her in any of the Dragonball series.

"Bingo!" I remarked and opened the door, I undid the seat belt and went to get out, suddenly Goku grabbed me by what he could, a certian brown furry belt round my waist and pulled me back in, I let out a startled cry as I fell on top of him and the pain shot up right through me like my spine was momentarily paralysed. I realised Goku had parked on the wrong side of the road, and the passenger side was opening to oncoming traffic. I watched as a large truck drove by where I could of been.

I looked at Goku and he looked at what he held in his hand and he looked at me.

"You're a saiyan!" he exclaimed.
