`Kagome sat on her queen mattress set on a box spring in her room off

of 35th in east Oakland.

Tears dripped onto the photo as she looked at it through a film of

tears. “Daddy,” She uttered softly to herself.

It was a saturday which meant her mother had went out. She had been

cleaning up the small two bedroom apartment when she came across some

old pictures. She went to go put them in the box kept under the coffee

table turned kitchen table. She ended up on her bed fingering a photo

of her mother and stepfather.

`They look so happy,' she thought. In the picture Naraku was lifting

up her mama, their background was the scary ride at Santa Cruz. She

thought her mother might have been pregnant by then but she wasn't sure

She hadn't meant to speak the word but it came out involuntarily. `I

need help,' She thought looking at the photo again. `Soon.''

Kagome yawned yet again.

“Do you need to go back to bed, Kagome,” Shippo asked looking up at

her.

She shook her head and took the coffee Rin offered.

“We have a gig today,” Sesshomaru announced entering the room.

“K,” Kagome said. It was two weeks since they got to Japan. As it

turned out Sesshomaru owned a huge house in Tokyo where they all lived.

He had called it a graduation present from his father. Luckily there

was a spare bedroom so Kagome didn't have to share with anyone. It had

seven bedrooms, each with a personal bathroom, a guest bathroom, a huge

kitchen with two refrigerators, a gorgeous dining room with a wall of

just windows overlooking the japanese style garden, a formal living

room, a game room, a exercise room, a study, and a pool house turned

practice room.

Kagome had been shocked when she learned that everything was decorated

by Sesshomaru himself. It was all so cozy but exquisite at the same

time. Kagome loved it from jump. Her room was next to the master

bedroom. All the rooms, except the master, were exactly the same size.

The house was designed so all the rooms were in one hallway in the very

back of the house, so from above it looked like a upside down T.

Inuyasha's room was at the very beginning, followed by Miroku's,

Sango's Shippo's, Rin's, Kagome's, and the masters, which was

Sesshomaru's, at the very end. It was made so that all of the rooms

were on the same side, save the master, and the hall was just floor to

ceiling windows so when any of them walked out of their room the first

sight was the japanese garden outside. The master bedrooms door faced

towards the front of the house so when Sesshomaru came out of his room

he would see the two wooden doors separating the bedrooms from the

other rooms. To his left would be the windows and to his left Kagome's

bedroom door.

The part of the `T' parallel to the house was designated to the other

rooms. The right end was the kitchen which led into the dining room.

On the left wall of the dining room were two carved doors which led to

the formal living room.

On the left end of the house was the study with walls covered ceiling

to floor with books. Next was the exercise room where all the walls

except the one with the door leading to the game room were floor to

ceiling windows. There was a large entry hall separating the game room

from the formal living room.

“We'll be doing the song we rehearsed while in America,” Sesshomaru

said breaking Kagome from her thoughts of the mansion she was now

sitting in.

She nodded to indicate she knew what song he was talking about.

“Well then let's get ready,” Inuyasha said getting up from the dining

room table. The rest of the band followed suit and went to their own

rooms to get ready.

An hour later Sesshomaru walked down the hall knocking on every door on

his way. He sat at the head of the dining room table and waited for

his fellow band members.

Shippo walked out first wearing a black beater and a dark pair of rock

washed jeans with his auburn hair pulled back in a ponytail. Next was

Rin in a black tank with a sheer black button up tied under her bust.

Black open toed heels highlighted the legs that her black mini skirt

showed off. Her long brown mane was tied up in a high ponytail. Sango

pranced in behind her wearing the same outfit but with a knee length

skirt. her hair was also pulled into a high ponytail. Miroku walked

in with a black t-shirt that showed off his muscles and abs that had a

purple music notes on it. His dark jeans fit him perfect and made

Sango do a double take. After a while Inuyasha swaggered into the room

in a black bitch shirt with red letters that read `Run up then'. He

had on black jeans and a pair of red vans.

They were ready to go. There was only one thing missing.

“KAGOME,” Inuyasha yelled down the hall.

“Coming,” came a faint reply.

She tripped into the dining room trying to put on her other paten

leather 6 inch stiletto heel. Her tight dark jeans showed off her hips

and ass while her form fitting v-neck tank showed just enough cleavage.

She stopped in her tracks when she saw Sesshomaru. he had donned a

simple pair of dark jeans and a black t-shirt, but on him it looked

perfect. Kagome refrained from drooling as he got up and led the way

out to the driveway.

He had, had his White Expedition imported from America. They all piled

in, and of course, Kagome was in the passenger seat. Instead of

singing Sesshomaru decided to hear her warm up. She did so until they

reached their destination. They got out and went to set up on stage.

“So we decided on the name right,” Shippo asked setting up his drums.

“What about Bakanamane,” Kagome asked from the bottom of the stage

steps. All heads turned to her.

“Monkey Business,” Rin asked.

“Yeah why not,” Shippo said.

“I like it,” Sango said stated.

“Really, would you like to go do some of it,” Miroku asked palming

Sango's ass.

She turned around and slapped him so hard the people walking by stopped

to stare.

“Keh, fuckin lech,” Inuyasha mumbled.

“So have you guys got a name yet,” The announcer asked from in front

of the stage.

“Bakanamane,” Sesshomaru answered without looking up from tuning his

guitar.

The announcer nodded and walked off.

Once the band was ready, the sound man from behind the stage boomed the

announcers voice over the P.A.

“Now if you all will give a very warm welcome to the new band Monkey

Bussiness,” He announced.

Kagome sang as the music joined in behind her. Some members of the

audience who wern't really paying attention turned to stare at her.

I think the present owner fixed it up

The second floor is hard for sneaking out

Most of the time had better things to do

Criminal record says I've broke in twice

I must have done it half a dozen times

I wonder if it's too late

Should I go back and try to graduate

Kagome began to sing her favorite part of the song.

We used to listen to the radio

And sing along with every song we'd know

We said someday we'd find out how it feels

To sing to more than just the steering wheel

She remebered when there was a time the stearing wheel seemed to be the

only thing that listened to her. That was before she became the lead

singer in this band.

Ken's the first guy I kissed

I was so nervous that I nearly missed

he's had a couple of kids since then

I haven't seen himsince God knows when

Kagome stopped singing and spoke the last part in a slightly singing

voice.

The crowd was in shock for a minute before it burst into applause.

Kagome heard a few whistles when she walked off the stage and went to

the bar on the side of the room.

A few guys tried to approach her as she sat on a high stool and sipped

on a coke, but Sesshomaru beat them to her.

“That was really good, Kagome,” He said sitting down next to her.

“Thanks,” She replied trying to hide her blush at his praise.

He smiled to himself and turned to order a Hennessy and Coke. “We have

a festival to do in a week,” he told her before taking a drink.

“Okay, just give me the lyrics,” She told him.

“Why don't you write a song,” Sesshomaru asked.

“I don't write,” She answered simply.

“Why,” He wondered out loud.

She shrugged her shoulder while she remebered why she stopped writing.

Sesshomaru looked at her curiously when her face fell. `hmm, I wonder.'

A/N: Yey I got another chapter done. I'm doin pretty good so far. I

just switched schools and I found the computer lab. Turns out it won't

let you on Fanficton.net due to adult content. Hella bootsy. But it

does let me on Mediaminer.org Weird I know. This means it might take

a while for me to post the chapters on fanfiction.net since ill have to

use my laptop and the internet connection is kinda off right now due to

the change in weather. But fear not. For I am here.
