You seem more essential than breathing air
And, in those two aspects, I've realized
How much you really, truly, care
 
 
Your actions surprise me
Your touch is like a dream
The words you say haunt me in ways
I can't ignore, it seems
 
 
If I'm holding your hand, can I hold in my joy?
You have no idea what you do to me, boy
You've opened my heart and made me feel something true
And that's what your “I love you” can do!
