A/N: Okay, so this is a poem I wrote at like…. 1AM… so yeah, review and tell me what you think….. It's kinda vampire-esque, and really sad. I need you to put yourself in the mindset of a Vampire sitting out in the snow watching his love.

Escape Moonlight's Innocence

She had enchanted him
To the downfall of them both
Her Angelic healing chased away
By his Demonic bloodlust
Yet, still, he could not cut her
He could not make her bleed tonight
No matter the cost
He was only there
Because he did not want her to die
Watching as she slept in on innocence
He could not have done it-
No. He could, but he did not.
He could have resurrected her
But he had promised she would keep her life
So subtly powerful
So dangerously fragile
Which would break first?
Her body, or her soul?
His pride?
His apathy?
He had captured a thing of purity
Then he had caged that innocence and beauty
How would he justify it
If he lost that light?
Would he no longer seek his remedy?
He was cursed.
Even in her gift of mercy
She was lost to him
His heart would not be comforted.
He sees her eyes,
When he closes his.
He hears her voice,
When she is no longer there.
He sees her on the edges of visions,
But she fades if he turns her way.
If she is still alive somewhere,
How is he still haunted by her ghost?
As the snow falls in static indifference,
He is taunted by moonbeams,
And silvery visions,
Wishing for a sunrise.
A sunrise that would leave him yearning
For the moonlight he wished to escape.
