Chapter 12:Questions and Flash Backs
Sam slowly opened her eyes to find herself in bed.
"Ugh....huh?Where am I?"Sam slowly woke up and looked around, her vision blurry.
Yami sat on the end of the bed looking at sam. His face was blurry and half of him was covered in shadows.
"Yami..?"Sam sat up as her vision cleared. She could see him sitting there, and could see yugi standing by the door.
"Your ok!"Yugi said happily as he quickly walked over to her."We thought you were gonna.."
Yami raised his hand to silence yugi."Yugi...shush..."
Sam felt confused. What was she almost gonna do?
"What happened?"
Yami looked back at sam and sighed quietly.
"I banished your yami..remember?"
Sam nodded
"But it seems that your body and mind could not handle the seperation. It was like your body was use to having your yami there for your entire life."
Yugi sat on the floor by the bed and looked up at yami.
"But thats impossible!"Yugi put a hand on his chin.
"I know..."Yami tapped his fingers on his knee.
"......."Sam watched the two.
Silence...
"Im hungry..."Sam broke the silence and smiled.
Yami and Yugi face falled and Yami sighed."Ok..."
Yugi stood up and turned to them"Its lunch time anyway.."
"Yay! God Im hungry..."Sam rested her hand on her stomach to feel the rumble of it.
Yami sighed once again and helped sam get out of bed. "Change your clothes and come down stairs when you are ready..."

Later...
Sam sat at the edge of the bed as she took off her dirty shirt and sighed.
"...."She sat there in silence and looked over to her Millenium Blade.
Sam stood up and went to the dresser, where she pulled out a new shirt.
<I feel like my yami hasnt left me...why is that?>
//Cause I havent left...//
/Spirit! What are you..I thought.../
//Nope...I couldn't leave you...while you were dieing like that...//
Sam closed her eyes and slowly found herself talking to her yami in the chambers of her mind.
/Im so confused spirit.....why would you help me?/
//Because you are my abiou//
/But why hurt my friends?/
//Because I cant allow them to have that millenium item.//
/What's so important about it?/
//Along time ago, I lived in ancient egypt. As did Yami. We use to be from egypt. Pharaoh Yami needed to lock away the items. He called on me one day, plus another girl.//

Flash Back...
"Gaurds! Bring Sam and Cleo to me."Yami sat in his throne as the gaurds walked out of the room.
The later enter with a girl with brown hair and a girl with black.
"Yes Pharaoh?"Sam went to her knees and bowed, as did cleo.
"What is it you wish of us?"Said cleo.
"The time has come. I will have to seal the magic of the shadow realm. But I need two gaurdians to make sure the power does not go out of control."
"Do you want us to find worthy gaurdians?"Sam looked up at yami.
"No...I already found them."
"Who do you wish to have as the gaurdians?"Cleo now looked up at yami.
"Why..you two..of course. You have both proven that you are worthy of this task."
Sam and cleo's eyes widen and they bowed their head once again.
"What will we do?"Cleo asks.
"As I said...make sure that the powers of the millenium item do not get into anyones hands."
"Yes sir"Sam and Cleo said in union
(End Flash Back)

/I understand now..but..why try to HURT them?/
//Because I cant take any chances!//
/But yami was the pharaoh!/
//I know..but I cnat even let HIM have the items!//

Sam opened her eyes to find herself in the room again. She sighed quietly and walked out of the room, and down stairs to where yami and yugi were waiting.

Sam:well there you have it...after a looong break from this fan fic, I have started writing chapters again. I know its not that good.
Yami Sam:duh...
Sam:*hits yami sam with a big mallet*shush..Im thinking of what to write for the next chapter..
Yami:already?
