Yami nearly fainted, "What!?" he cried

Seto turned back to look at the painting just to check if his mind was playing tricks on him, it wasn't. "This boy - in the picture, he looks just like Mokuba." He replied

Yami snatched the picture away, "Its not, it can't be." He tried desperately.

Seto shook his head, "But, it looks just like him and the blood - on his neck……." He trailed off

Yami thought quickly, "Seto, your being silly! Your brothers dead, it can't be him." He said

Yami opened up his desk draw and stuffed the painting inside before closing it, he then led Seto to his bed and they both sat on it, side by side.

"Maybe your right, maybe it's just a coincidence?" Seto whispered, staring off into space.

"Seto, how did your brother die?" Yami asked

Seto blinked, "You wouldn't believe me Yami," he replied

"Try me." Yami said

"No, you'd think I was crazy." Seto answered

Yami placed his hand on Seto's, "I know you're not crazy. Please, just tell me." He soothed

"My brother - he was killed, Murdered." Seto explained

Yami nodded, though shocked, he remained calm "He was? By whom?" he questioned

Seto turned cold, "By a fowl, disgusting bastard!" he replied

Yami's eyes widened, "Who?" he repeated

"I don't know who, I've been searching for it for ages, I know it's out here somewhere……" Seto answered

"It?" Yami queried in puzzlement

Seto nodded, "Yes, `it'." He said "I do not know who but, I know what."

"What? What is it?" Yami replied

Seto sighed, "A thing which I despise with all my being, they took my little brother away from me, those heartless bastards!" he hissed

"Seto, you still haven't answered my question!" Yami said "What is it? What are `they'?"

"There…..oh please don't call me mad……" Seto trailed off again

"I won't Seto, just tell me!" Yami persisted

Seto glanced at him, "Vampires Yami, a vampire killed my little brother - and ruined my life." He answered

Yami removed his hand from Seto's, stood up and turned away from him.

Seto looked worried, "Yami?" he asked, moving towards him. "Koi, speak to me!"

Yami was surprised at hearing Seto calling him love and turned to face him; Seto gasped "Yami, your crying! Why?" he asked, expecting Yami to be thinking he was a nutcase or laughing at him behind his back but finding instead, him to be sobbing silently.

"It's - it's……" Yami didn't know what to say, he couldn't tell Seto what he was now! He couldn't ever. "It's just; I hate to see you upset."

Well, it was partly true.

"You, don't think I'm crazy?" Seto asked

Yami shook his head, "N-no." he replied

Seto brushed Yami's tears away with his fingers tenderly, "Your amazing Yami, you know that?" he whispered

Yami smiled, "As are you, Seto." He replied

"You're like my angel," Seto said

Yami blushed, "I am?" he asked

Seto nodded, gazing into his eyes "I was alone until I met you, you've shown me the light and for that, I thank you." He answered

Yami's eyes widened, "Shown. You. The. Light?" he repeated. Those were the exact same words his mother had said before she left him. "Your not going to leave me, are you Seto?"

Seto blinked, "Of coarse not! Whatever gave you that idea?" he asked

"Nothing, sorry." Yami muttered

Seto cupped Yami's cheek in one hand, "I love you Yami, I'd never leave you." he whispered, drawing them both into a kiss.

They parted, "Oh, Seto……..I know." Yami sighed happily

A few minutes seemed to go by, "Seto, you better leave now." Yami said

Seto frowned, "Why?" he whined "Can't I just stay a little while longer?"

Yami shook his head, "Father Simon checks my room every night, he'll be here soon!" he answered, Seto sighed "I'm sorry Seto,"

Seto smiled at Yami, "It's okay, I'll go." He replied "But I'll be back again soon, okay?"

Yami nodded, "Good." He said

Seto turned around and looked out the open window sheepishly, "Well um, good bye Yami," he muttered

"Seto, will you be able to get down alright? It's pretty high up here." Yami asked

"I'll be fine!" Seto replied

He then jumped down the window, but was not prepared for the end so fell flat on his back with a yelp.

Yami gasped, "Seto!" he called from above, "Are you okay down there?"

Seto sat up and rubbed his bruised back, "Sure, I'm fine." He mumbled

"Are you sure, you're sure?" Yami asked

Seto stood up and waved up at him, "I'm fine, don't worry about me!" he called back

Yami nodded, "Okay, good bye Seto!" he replied

"See you soon," Seto said, walking off back to his home holding his back painfully.

Yami shook his head and shut his window and changed quickly. He blinked when he noticed the rose in his pocket and smiled, he must have forgotten about it when he put it away in the park.

He picked it up and sat on his bed, he hissed slightly when a thorn pricked his finger and watched the small trail of blood trickle down.

He licked his finger clean of the blood and hid the rose under his pillow, pulling the bed covers over himself; he laid down and started to sleep.
