~Neonnas House~
Peril and Hiei showed up at Neonnas house after walking for some time. "This is it? Ive been around here before." Peril said. "Lets go inside." Hiei and Peril walked inside to find the small cottoge to be deserted. "Hello?!" Hiei yelled. "I guess theyre not here..." Peril said. "I guess... so." Hiei said. "I guess they were in the woods after all." He continued. "I seen them walking by the lake miles behind my house... so they should be close by here now." Peril said. "Yeah... probably... lets go in and see if theyre there." Hiei said. Hiei and Peril walked into the firey wood unknowingly. They had no idea that they were putting themselves in great danger by doing this.
~The Forest~
Kurama, Yusuke, and Yukina were walking through the woods. At this time they were pretty deep in and just noticing the smoke in the distance. "You see that?" Yusuke asked as they all stopped. "Yes... what is that?" Kurama said. "Looks like smoke." Yukina said sqinting her eyes. "Oh no... is there a fire?" She asked worrily. "I think... it is." Yusuke said. "Lets turn back and leave the woods... We should go back to Neonnas house and stay there for awhile." Yusuke added. "Yeah I think so too but which way is out?" Yukina said as they turned around to look for where they came in. "We're lost... lets just keep going... Hiei might be in there and might need our help. I mean theres probably other people or animals that need help also." Kurama said. "Yeah but Kurama!" Yusuke said scared. But Kurama didnt wait long enough, he kept walking on towards the smoke. "Kurama!" Yukina and Yusuke said running up to him. The three of them began walking on looking around as the animals were running the oppisite way they were walking. They now were close enough to the fire to see it through the smoke.
~The Forest Fire~
Kouga and Miroku were still asleep as the fire got close to them. And Kagome and Inuyasha were looking for a nearby lake to get out of the fire. "Inuyasha!" Kagome had to yell loud enough for him to here because the fire was so close to them that it was like a roar. "Inuyasha!! Its really hot!!" Kagome was yelling to him as they stopped. "What?!" He yelled back to her. "Its really hot!" She yelled again standing in his face. " We have to find a lake or a stream!!" He yelled to her. "Where though?!?!" Kagome yelled. "I dont!..." Inuyasha was yelling until a huge branch from the tree fell. He grabbed Kagome and jumped out of the way before it hit the both of them. Now the trees began falling all over the place. Kioto was running through smoke trying to find where they had stopped to rest. Then he could just bearly here the sound of sreams. He began to get worried. "Help!!! Help me!!!" Tiena was screaming being surrounded by intense burning trees. Kioto was getting closer as he could hear the screams getting louder. Just then one of the trees Tiena was surrounded by started to fall. "Ahhhhh!!!!" Tiena screamed as she put her hands over her head and ducked down. Then Kioto ran and jumped pushing Tiena and himself out of the trees falling path. That tree fell on another tree falling on another and etc. "We have to get the heck out of here!!!" Tiena yelled. "Come on!! Theres a lake over here!!" He yelled to her in her face. He grabbed he hand and they ran through the burning and falling trees. "Inuyasha what about all the others!?!" She yelled to him. "We have to find a water!!" He yelled back at her. They continued to walk through the burning trees. Shippo was getting scared of the fire and so he flew up above the trees to see that the fire was spreading throughout the forest putting trees on fire within seconds. He looked and in a matter of 30 seconds a mile of trees were already up in flames. "Kagome!!" He yelled.
~Getting Deeper~
Kurama, Yukina, and Yusuke were now up to the fire and could see that the flames were burning the trees more and more. Hiei and Peril were nearby them and getting closer and closer. Kurama at this point had no idea the closeness he was to his brother. Kurama and Yukina and Yusuke were walking slowly and cautiously through the firey forest. Yusuke began walking off to the side of them unknowingly. Kurama and Yukina hadnt noticed either. Then all of a sudden the biggest tree in the forest fell splitting Yusuke apart from Kurama and Yukina. "Yusuke!!!" Yukina yelled. "Yusuke!! You okay!?!?" Kurama yelled trying to look through the fire on the fallen tree trying to see Yusukes face. "Yeah!!!" They heard slightly. "We'll meet you at the end!!" Kurama yelled to him. "Okay!!!" Yusuke replied but the tree was extremely long across the burning ground and the branches at the end of the tree caused an explosion with 4 other trees. Yusuke was split up from his friends and wouldnt beable to get to them. But Yusuke was in a safer area than Yukina and Kurama. Yusuke was close to the lake where Kioto was. Yusuke began walking in the direction not knowing about the lake. Yukina and Kurama continued walking hoping that Yusuke was going to be alright and that they would find Hiei unharmed. Hiei and Peril were deep in the mits of the fire but still close to Yukina and Kurama. "Hiei we should go back!!" She yelled to him. "I have to find them!!" he yelled to her. "Its to dangerous!!!" She yelled worried. "We have to find them if theyre in here!!" Hiei told her yelling through the fire. "But if they arent!! She said cautious of the burning trees around her. "Ill protect you dont worry!!" Hiei told her. Kurama was feeling faint. "Yu-yu-Yukinaaa" Kurama said. "Kurama?!" Yukina yelled through the loudness of the fire. Suddenly Kurama had fainted. "Kurama!!" Yukina yelled. She looked down at his injured leg and seen that blood was pouring out of it. "OMGosh!!' She yelled. She took a few steps awat from him and started screaming for help. "HELP!!!!! HELP US!!!" She screamed. Hiei and Peril had just heard a bit of it. "You heard that?!" Hiei yelled. "Yeah!" Peril replied. Hiei and Peril followed the sreams for help and were getting closer. Yukina continued to yell for help when a tree came crashing down. "AHHHHH!!!!!" She screamed as the tree fell crushing her legs and knocking her out. Hiei and Peril now stopped hearing the crys and sreams for help but were now up to where Yukina and Kurama were. "YUKINA!!" Hiei yelled shocked at what he had seen. Hiei and Peril ran up to her. "Yukina!" Hiei was holding her upper body in his arms. Peril felt for her pulse. "Hiei her pulse is weak!" She yelled through the noise. Peril then saw Kurama and ran over to him. "OMGosh!!" She yelled running to him. "Hiei i found someone else!" She yelled to him. She ripped Kuramas shirt and took the cloth and made a bandage out of it. She tied it around his leg to stop the bleeding. Hiei was holding onto Yukina. "Yukina wake up!!" He yelled. She began to wake but couldnt talk. Peril ran back to Hiei and saw that he was very emotional. She was shocked because Hiei didnt seem to be the kind of person to be emotional. "Hiei..." She said. "Yukina are you okay?!" he asked still shocked. "Uh...uh..." She made those noises. "Hiei she cant breath!!!" Peril yelled. "Shes not breathing!! Shes dieing Hiei!!" Peril continued. "No! No!! Shes my sister!! She cant die!. Yukina listen! Your my... sister! I have to tell you now!!" Hiei told her. "You cant die!!" She touched his face. "Yukina!" He yelled. Peril began tearing knowing whats going to happen. She turned herself to water to put out a fire coming close by. She then turned back and ran over to Kurama to stay with him. "Yukina come on stay with me here!" He said. Yukina couldnt talk and began to tear as she was suffocating. Her tears turned to crystals. Yukina closed her eyes and stopped making suffocating noises. "No! No! Yukina!" Hiei yelled. "No... Yukina wake up!" He cryed. After minutes of trying to get Yukina to open her eyes Hiei finally stopped trying. He picked up her crytal tears and held them in his hand with tears in his eyes. Hiei hadnt ever been like this before...
