This is a sequel to "He She Me We." I suggest reading it before you read this, but that's completely up to you on that. Since this is a sequel to "He She Me We," I'm going to repost the warning that I wrote for it. (Just covering my butt here people) I'd like to thank Jin Hiei for coming up with the idea for this fic. Thanks Jin, I couldn't have done it without you!

Warning: You are about to read a fanfic that involves a female Kurama. That's right a female Kurama. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Kurama is a guy. I, for one, am well aware of this, so please don't do me the favor of pointing this fact out to me. Also, I am aware that Kurama is not a homosexual, so (once again) do not point this out to me. This is fan fiction. This means the story that you are about to read, if you choose to, is not official and means nothing.

Kurama and Hiei sat comfortable on Kurama's couch watching television. Actually, Kurama was flipping through channels looking for something good to watch, and Hiei... Well, Hiei was just sitting enjoying the position that they where in. Hiei sat erect on one seat, while Kurama rested her head in his lap.

There were still times when he couldn't believe that he and Kurama were actually a couple. There were times when he had literally pinched himself to make sure that this wasn't just some wonderful dream. However, it wasn't a perfect relationship. The only reason Kurama was lying with his head in Hiei's lap was because she knew that her mother wasn't going to be home for a while. Further more, they still weren't used to showing public affection, especially when around Yusuke and Kuwabara. (It literally took forever to convince Kuwabara that they we're actually dating.) Those two were constantly teasing Hiei and Kurama about their relationship.

The biggest problem, however, was the fact that Kurama wasn't even really a girl. He was a she.

Kurama flipped through the channels, trying desperately to find something good on, and was failing miserably. After a while, he simply sighed and turned off the television, dropping the remote control to the floor. Didn't think I'd find anything good on, he thought. For a while the room was filled with quite, but it wasn't an awkward one, like in the past, before he and Hiei started dating. It was comfortable and welcomed. He felt just find resting his head in Hiei's lap and he knew that Hiei was more than a little okay with it.

Still, something about his relationship with Hiei didn't feel completely right. What was he to Hiei anyway? Did Hiei see him as a boyfriend or a girlfriend? It was safe to say that Kurama saw Hiei as his boyfriend, since Hiei was undeniably male. However, Kurama on the other hand was... a special case altogether.

"Hiei," Kurama said, breaking the silence.

"Hn?" he replied.

"What am I to you?" he asked innocently.

Hiei blinked a few times, taken a back by Kurama's words. "W-what?" he stammered, hoping that Kurama didn't say what he thought she'd just said.

Kurama pulled herself into sitting position so that he was looking him in the eyes. "I said," he began, "'What am I to you?' Am I your boyfriend or your girlfriend?"

Hiei swallowed air several times trying to think of what to say. He had just been thinking the same thing just a moment ago, but he didn't think Kurama would ask him this! What he suppose to say? If he were to answer without thinking, he'd have to say that he thought of her as his girlfriend. After all, when they had moments to themselves like this one, Kurama did act a little girly. However, he knew that was the wrong answer. Kurama still thought of herself, or rather himself , as a man, but to say that Kurama was his boyfriend... he couldn't do it! To call the red headed goddess his boyfriend just seemed wrong! Further more, if he told Kurama he was his boyfriend, then he'd get the idea that he was on top, and Hiei just couldn't have that happen!

"Why does it matter to you?" he asked hoping that this would take her mind off the question and end up changing the subject completely.

"Why aren't you answering me?" Kurama shot back.

Damn! he thought. Looks like I'm just going to have to think of a good answer that won't upset him.

He thought for a moment. "Well," he began. "I see you as my... lover."

Kurama raised an eyebrow at the word "lover." "Your 'lover'?" she repeated and shock her head, a small smirk forming on her pink lips. "I wouldn't have thought of using the word 'lover' to describe our relationship. It makes it sound like we have sex all the time."

Hiei blushed at that remark. The fact of the matter was, he and Kurama hadn't had sex yet. He thought again. "...mate..?"

She chuckled. "No. That sounds like sex again."

"Soul mate?" he suggested hoping she wouldn't bring up sex again.

She thought about this one for a second. "That one sounds cute," she said. "I like it, but it didn't really answer my question."

"Well, you didn't answer my question either," he pointed out. "Why does this matter to you anyway?"

Kurama sighed and slumped his shoulders. He bit his lower lip thinking. "It's... hard to explain," he began, still trying to find just the right way to put this. "I just don't feel like we're dating unless... Well... I don't know. I guess I just don't feel like we act that much like a couple."

"What do you mean?" Hiei asked puzzled. It was clear that he didn't know just how couples were suppose to act. Then again, Kurama didn't really know all that much either, seeing how this was his first serious relationship. Not to mention, his first relationship with a man!

Still, he thought, I have a much better idea then Hiei does. He thought for a moment. "Well," he said after a while. "We never go places together."

"That's because we don't really want to be seen together," he said. "It'd be embarrassing for both of us. You most of all."

"No," he said, grabbing Hiei's hand and giving it a light squeeze. "It wouldn't be. After all, I guess I could assume that you'd never had a real date before, Hiei." Hiei blushed at this, but Kurama continued. "And, besides, it'll be fun! I know a great Chinese restaurant, (though, I can't remember where I heard about it from,) and I've got more than enough money to spend on both of us. I think we should do it."

Hiei hesitated for a moment, before he finally nodded in agreement. "Fine," he said. "if it'll make you happy."
