Again, you rock! Loved the chapter. Don't know how you managed to get them so perfectly in character...wait, let me rephrase that. I don't know how you managed to give them so much character--I like them more than I did in the original!

...like the feeding of the birds, Lee being all shocked at Gaara missing the sparring, the fact that Gaara admitted he'd miss the sparring and the Kestral being petted. Wheeeeeeeee~! Okay so I've been totally lazy and not reviewed so far but dude your fics are amazing. I'm a total (even if I cringe at the term :P) fangirl of Freeport and when I got the email notification about this fic, I had to head straight over and read even if it was 2am or something at the time. I love the characterization, the way you're showing the interaction to explain their respective personalities and habits. There's no waste of space describing childhoods and such, you've played on the audience's familiarity with the canon and built an incredible intro for what looks to be an excellent story. Mad props, babe. I especially love that Lee isn't too over the top, I know we've been given such a loud version of him in the manga that people sometimes overdo him without properly looking into his motives and his principles. Sure he's a nice guy, but he's learnt a lot from Gai and applies that how he see's fit. I am woefully in love with your Gaara *shameful* He's so perfect. The glimpses into his mindset, the adorable way that he doesn't really fathom that people could like him for who he is. It makes me jig about in unholy glee. I do not like that I am running out of space to review now, better wrap it up. Um particular points that made me all jiggity were when Lee first spars with Gaara, lmao the whole situation was just ace. I think there were a bazillion little things in this chapter alone that made me happy -- carried on in a seperate comment omg *facepalm*

Greetings from Germany! I'm still reading your Naruto fics, in case you remember me from my last review. ^_^ It's strange, I usually don't read anything in the Naruto fandom at all (although I liked the anime), your fics are the only exception. Well, I'm afraid to say I'd even read your fics if you decided to only write about the Care Bears from now on.... Anway, I like this fic a lot, (your) Lee really is very refreshing and cute as always.... and Gaara ... is still a mystery to me. ^_~ What rating do you think this will have at the end, R, NC-17? Heh, I'm just curious because you wrote the rating would go up. Well, I hope you'll write more and have fun doing it.

Well, flying monkeys! It's Maldoror writing Naruto fics! And here I was in my 8 ounce world thinking you only wrote Gundam Wing stuff. Then I just happen to stumble across your name under the Naruto section of mm.org, and I flip out! I was very happy to see that you also write about my other most favorite anime. I really do get a kick out of this story and they are very interesting characters. I can't wait to find out what happens next. You really did hook me on this pairing and you stay in character really well. I share your hope that Gaara, in the manga, will make it through okay. He's a character that deserves the chance to grow, though if he does get that chance I think that it would be similar to the way you've protrayed him. I honestly can't believe how well you write those two, especially Lee, I wouldn't be able to write him that well no matter how hard I tried. Please keep it up, and if you ever need an extra beta-reader or if you just want a more in depth review all you have to do is ask! Once again, thanks for this!

Tee, hee, hee. *** "That's why I came to kill you in the hospital afterwards." As usual, I adore your funny one-liners!!! *** Characterisation, voices, attitudes are perfect. Sorry I can't give more feedback, but I've read a lot of Lee, and you've definitely got him down pat. A good fic you might want to read to get Gaara characterisation is "Try" by gelfling at http : // www . fanfiction . net /s/1963188/1/ (just take out all the spaces). That one's one of my personal favourites. Glad to see you updating so quickly. I look forward to reading more soon.

I like this. I love Naruto almost as much as I love Gundam Wing. Love your fics, Freeport, Trail and Error (very funny - people gave me weird looks when I was reading it at the PC room because I kept laughing out loud!),Watching You, Beautiful Symmetries and The Arrangement. I love alternate pairings and I never even considered Gaara and Lee as a pairing but I think I've been converted! Thanks so much for writing this story and the others! I look forward to reading more of your stories as soon as you get an opportunity to post them... I know how annoying real life can be at times.
