Last Call is hands down your BEST chapter that had cannon events in it. It is beautifully written, well carried out, and highly detailed. The story is over, and for that, I am truly sorry. This was one of my favorites ever. Honestly. It was beautifully written, well thought out, and emotionally charged. It certainly affected my outlook on a couple of the characters...I'll never look at Caine the same, now, that's for certain. ^^;;; At any rate, I hope this isn't the last thing we see from you out of the Trigun fandom, although I'm expecting you'll be taking a well deserved break. ^^ Good luck in all of your future writing. I hope one day you'll write the NicholasxVash version that you originally planned on... Ja~ne. Keep in touch. -k.

that was beautifull. just...fucking...beautiful. i loved it. what can i say? it was amazing. how you wrote the characters...their feelings, actions...the storyline...just amazing. im completely blown away. the ending was so sad but so fitting. damn, now im mad at vash! the story was so good and now i'm so sad that its over! i loved it to death!!

I've been meaning to write a glowing reiview for the longest time. I love this fic. Midvalley and Wolfwood were always my favorite pairing, and I was thrilled to see that someone had actually written a long fic. But this story has been just... so amazing. I love it, mainly because it gives such a better look at the story, by being told from a different point of view. Myself, I'd been dreading the chapter when the inevitable happened. But you did it so well, and I'm pleased that they got to see each other again. That doesn't make it any less sad... well, yes it does. I'll comment again, I, have and always will, enjoy this fic immensely. Midvalley is my all-time favorite anime character, and I love the depth you've added, that you don't see enough of in the series. Thank you, -pretty hate machine

*sniffle* I'd be in tears if my roommate wasn't also in the room. I'll start bawling in a few minutes, yes I will. That was so powerful. Nick. Midvalley. *sniffle* It finally happened. He's dead. I don't believe it. It happened. Seen it coming since the beginning, but it's still hard to swallow. I love the pacing you've done with the coffee. Between Midvalley and Legato. And the scene in the bar, I found that to be so sad. Midvalley could never play for an audience again, because there will always be someone out there who will know. What kind of a life for him is that? It's like he has nothing left at all. I'm glad that Midvalley and Nick got to see each other one last time before he died. I guess there's not much left now, is there? And you beat me in the race! Well, I tried.

I think Nick recognized Zazie. I'm so glad someone else actually SAW that moment. I have different reasons for it in the 'universe' I write from, but nevertheless, there was a LOOK on Wolfwood's face when he saw Zazie. He recognized the boy. I'm just glad I'm not the only over-obsessed freak-girl who saw that look. ^^;;!! As for everything else, I think you've continued to do an amazing job. Things are winding down to the inevitable close that we all know about...I'm not looking forward to it...I'm far to addicted to this epic of yours...I'll be interested to see the other version if you ever get to it, since I know what was intended when you started this thing. Good luck, and may the rest be as good as the beginning... Ja~ -k.

Another impressive dream scene. The emotions in this chapter are well executed. I expected nothing less from this reunion. You've left me satisfied for the night... Except that there are two chapters left. TWO CHAPTERS...Eek. I can't walk away until it's all read...*goes insane* -k.

As much as I hate to admit it, I've been reading this fiction almost from the beginning and have just now gotten off my lazy ass to post a comment! I shall now remedy that... First off, absolute kudos on choosing Midvalley to be your main character. Now, you can come by fic after fic revolving on Vash's feelings, less but still significant for Wolfwood, a few for Legato and maybe one or two for Knives is you're lucky, but I don't believe I've ever seen a fiction delve so deeply into Midvalley's psyche. That fact in itself makes it stand out from the crowd. Another is the sheer spectrum of emotion this fiction presents - when it's funny you laugh out loud, when it's happy you grin as wide as though your face may split in two; this characters are touching and moving... a key element that is sorely missed in the daily incoming deluge of new (and sadly unoriginal) fanfiction. Finally, MS has greatly enhanced the original timeline and fills in so many grey areas with a fresh, innovative way to interpret the Gung-ho Guns element of the Trigun story. Even though we may know how Trigun ends, this fiction makes it all new again. I was in tears at the tail end of "Bread of Heaven" because Wolfwood and Midvalley's love is so poignant, deep and true that you just can't help but wish them a happy ending. I don't think I can stress this enough - this is no typical fiction! You've got me hooked and I diligently scout for new chapters at any spare moment and will continue to do so. Wow! I'm never gonna see this section of the series the same way again. I knew events were somewhat orchestrated, but not THAT controlled. I thought Midvalley's observations of Vash were very 'nail on the forehead'.
