I liked this chapter. It opened so many doors! I liked how you made Knives so creepy yet charismatic and sure of himself. And I really liked how realistic Midvalley's reaction was to what he did with Legato. As always, the writing itself was great; especially the parts where it showed how uneasy everyone was when Knives was giving them their assignments. I think it's great, how you're practically writing a novel with this. I admire your determination.
On a scale of one to ten, this gets an eleven. ^^

That. . .was. . .hot. Purely sensual (it ain't often you see Legato getting it.) . . .Wow. . .amazing. . . and, hoboy, is Midvalley going to get into trouble. I honestly don't think he did anything wrong, but. . . . I don't know, it's so technical. He wasn't in right mind, but still . . .it's not like he wouldn't have later. . .right?. . .yikes, what a dilemma. Either way, when Nick finds out . . Hell will break loose. |

Aaah, I love how you're going into such depth with Legato's character... in a lot of other stories, people portray him as just another evil villain, but that's definately not the case here. The detail in this chapter is exceptional... very good work. Though the ending was kind of depressing (Poor Midvalley!), I like it. It's believable. I look forward to more chapters concerning this Legato/Wolfwood/Midvalley triangle! And what's going to happen with Vash? o__o As always - fantastic job! :D |

Great update! I was so surprised at what happened when Midvalley met Knives. It was so unexpected. XD The ending kind of scared me, too... I thought that's how you were going to end the story... I got frightened o__o. I think it was a good way to end the chapter, though. It reminded me of the dream Midvalley had a few chapters earlier... I'm really anticipating the next chapter! :D

OK, back to seriousness. Man, this update has me in smiles. It's a delight. The children are so adorable. It's so cool to see what Nicholas has been working for. I hope Midvalley's plan carries through.

'Now, he's a joke.' How much you wanna bet that the speaker has to be some jealous groupie. Where did those people come up with that? I suppose that's more of a society question, so never mind. One thing: Adonis, where do you come up with these cool descriptions.
And I agree with the general population. That 'musical scene' was awesome. Imagine being a 'baddie' with both legs broken, someone asks what happened, and explain with, 'hit with music'. To Hot Lips and Midvalley, I raise my can of coke in 'Cheers'.
Glad Nick is doing well. What's going to happen about those 300 iles? A stretch SUV? |

I like how you illustrated the part where Midvalley used his special abilities with his saxaphone. Very cool. This fanfic, along with a few others, has inspired me to write my own... I just have to develop a story... Anyway, I can't wait for more chapters! (and yet I'm not looking forward to this story to end XD)

Wow, that was really great. Midvalley and Wolfwood has always been my favorite paring, but I've never thought about them actually being in _love_ untill I read this fic. It was awesome, and I liked the way you ended it. Parts of it even made me cry. I really felt for them when I read this. *sniffle* great job.
There should be more Midvalley fiction out there. He was always my favorite character. Thank you for writing this. |

Again, still brillant.
Your portrayl of Midvalley is stunning. I'd like to know where you come up with some of the ideas for the music side of the whole thing, which is probably my favorite part.
I'd have to say that my only let-down so far is that the sections between the time Nicholas leaves and the time he returns are so rushed. The rest is spellbinding and amazing.
I still don't like your Legato, much, either. But that's personal taste, and what you *do* do with your view of the character is rather good.
Wonderful work. One of the best stories I've ever read. Definately in my top 10.
I hope you do more work on it soon. |

Wow! Powerful chapter. Perfectly carried out.
It's amazing how in tune Midvalley is with Nick. It's amazing and touching how those two know each other so well.
Man! I love this update. I don't know which story was better: Midvalley's or Nick's. (I won't say so in a review for obvious reasons, but Hot Lips and Midvalley. . I knew it!) I have a lot more respect for Evergreen now than I had. |
