I sat on a rock eating before I returned to Cold-sei. It wasn't a very good meal; some left over nuts and some cooked Sosenus, which tasted like burnt rubber, in my opinion. I was startled when my scouter blipped and a transmission came through.

"Prince Vegeta?" The transmission was poor, but the voice was understandable, albeit crackling and fuzzy. After a grunt from me, they continued. "Prince Vegeta, your planet has been destroyed my a meteor. Lord Frieza sends his deepest regrets."


Vegeta, torn from his family and home at the age of eight must learn to be evil or die. Tormented by the destruction of his home planet and almost all his fellow Saiya-jins, Vegeta falls deeper into Frieza's murderous grasp as he grows older. Wars are declared, millions are slaughtered, and Vegeta is in the midst of it all. But despite all this, he has the sickening fear he's falling in love with the beautiful Kurushi, and is torn two ways. He's a warrior, and was taught that emotions are weaknesses, yet he can't deny what he's feeling. But when tragedy strikes again, he decision is involuntarily made, and he feels he has no choice but to resort to his old, murderous ways. The life he lives takes him around the universe, until he finds his way to a planet called Earth...
