| Featured Reason: The characters are real and compelling, and even though I typically steer away from Inuyasha fics I enjoyed what I read. It takes skill to introduce as many original characters into the Inuyasha world and make them all believable, and I think she's done just that. |

Both Saitou and Kenshin are so amazingly in character, the premise is unmistakably unique for the fandom, and Nekotsuki's writing style really stands out nicely in this story. The story has a great mix of action, drama, intrigue, and brilliantly sarcastic humor; it's hard to get bored with this piece. |

| Featured Reason: I was pleasantly surprised to find a very nicely written work here, and I very much enjoyed it. The overall style and flow of the story are well-done. The characters are marvelously portrayed and are very in character, and I think the situation is very fitting for filling in a tiny little gap that Kubo Tite left in the manga/anime. I thought this piece contained some great insights into a few of the lesser-explored characters (like Mayuri, Kenpachi, and Ishida) as well. |
