| Featured Reason: One of the few first person/present tense fics that is well written. Pareathe's grasp of character voice is amazing. I can hear them speaking in my head. Her decision to stray from the popular pairings works. And by gods it works well. She makes me care about Goku, my least favorite character, and gives life to Videl, someone who I ignored in favor of other females. This is one fic and one author who I heartily recommend. |

| Featured Reason: The story possesses a certain charm that is hard to come by in Fanfiction writing in general. Rough here and there, sure, but overall very high quality. I like this fic, it has so much potential and its characterization is pretty spot on. This artist deserves to have her fiction spotlighted, not just her art. Because she was truly talented. |

Nekotsuki does an excellent job of keeping the canon characters in character, bringing in a barrage of complex new characters that do well to compliment a well-constructed plot. With a very engaging story line, incredibly well-written action sequences, and wonderful characterizations, this story is an excellent read for all Rurouni Kenshin fans and a rare gem of a find. |
