| Featured Reason: It takes a special something to make an A/U work. Especially an a/u with such an unbelievable premise. But it works. It works because of the characterization and the attention to detail the author puts into his work. So what can I say? This fic is rereadable (a high compliment) and it is fun. Which is what fanfiction should be all about. |

| Featured Reason: Where to start? I guess with the characters, they are amazingly in character and this fic takes what we know of them and expands on that. Syldana makes us care about what happens to them. There are parts of this fic that have me cooing in appreciation and others that have me in tears. The premise is believable. And it is one of the few DBZ yaoi fics that does not forget about the wives or villifies them. This from me, an avowed Bulma/Vegeta fan. The grammar is excellent. It is a good read, and one of the first that I recommend to people who want good fic but a non-canon couple. |

It is accessable to people who don't know the series but is enjoyable to someone who knows the show inside and out like I do. This is what a vignette should be. |

The characters evolve and the grammar and spelling are excellent. This is a story that I followed back when it was first posted on the FFML and RAAC and I am currently following the second sequel. | Featured Reason: Nice little story for any Lovecraft fan, though it is rather strongly similar to Pickman's model in its initial setup. Establishes itself as something other than a simple derivative, though. I thoroughly enjoyed this oneshot. Nicely paced, well-written and presented ... | Featured Reason: As a half hearted follower of Inu Yasha I lacked the backstory but the fic filled in the gaps nicely, Very dramatic and well written, pulled me right in.The Action scenes are wonderful and the author actually knows how to do a flashback without jerking me out of the story. Her characters are interesting and with vocal patterns that make them easily identifiable. A sign of a good fan fic, is when the reader isn't a true fan of the series, but enjoys the story anyway. That is exactly what happened here! |
