Nice final battle. Misery joining Kagome to end the world of Cernonnus and get revenge on the death of their families was perfect. Poor Inuysha and Sesshomaru having to watch their mates fight and not being able to protect them is going to weigh on them both. Inuyasha always wants to protect Kagome, with his own life if necessary. And Sesshomaru has to face the fact that he wasn't strong enough to protect his mate from harm. I hope Shippou is alright and wasn't harmed in fallout from the battle. Misery might be a little disappointed in the fact that he bailed before the fight. It will be interesting to see what Miroku, Sango, Inuyasha and Kagome decide to do with the rest of their lives. I am torn because I am sad to see this story end but I am glad that it is working out so well for everyone. Looking forward to the epilogue and final wrap.

WOOO Cernonnus is DEAD!!! and thats what you get for facing a pissed off Miko XD i cheered and scared some people here when Misery came back XD and those words at the end from her mother, nearly had me in tears... T-T GREAT STORY!! LOVED IT all the way through ^_____^ and now wondering what your going to do next :P

Boy, I see there's a lot of people here that hates that bastard as much as I do. Hope Kags and the boys kick that bastard's ass back to hell where he belongs!!!! Oh, poor Sesshy....he is absolutely devistated. Gawd, Missy's gotta come back!!! You're breaking my heart here, Kitten. Yeah, I love the angsty you but please, please, please put a happy ending on this. (Did I mention pretty please???)

Outstanding chapter. OMG!!! Misery is dead, and Sesshoumaru is about to follow. I just loved your update! Wonderful job and it was well worth the wait, I might add. Oh, Kagome is one person I wouldn't want to mess with right now! Oh I cannot wait to see the next update! Cernonnus is now facing a VERY upset very powerful Miko, an equally upset taiyouki, and a powerful hanyou that wants to protect the other two and help get vengeance. Yes he has the jewel but once Kagome gets an arrow through it or her hands on it, especially as supercharged as she is, it will purify. This is going to be a very interesting chapter. I can't believe that Misery is dead, I think you have an out for her so she survives and makes Sesshomaru a very happy dog. I am looking forward to seeing how it all works out.

Good chapter. There is clearly no end to Cernnonus's awfulness ( if that's a word). I can't wait to see Kagome and the others take him down, especially Sesshoumaru. Man, Sessh broke your heart in this chapter! I just hope he gets his revenge!

poor misery. i'm trusting you to find a way to bring her back! she is one of the most interesting oc's i've ever read. now cernonnus had one pissed off miko, one sucidal dai youki, and one over protective hanyou all after him. i pity his position. i love the way the tension built throughout this chapter. and by leaving it at it's peak, you guarantee readers will be anticipating the next chapter most eagerly. thank you for this fantastic chapter.

I am absolutely enthralled by your tale. Your depiction of the characters and adaptation of a new found ally have brought much strength, fantasy, and individuality to the Inuyasha story. I've been reading the entire fanfic so far in less than 2 days-- so of course I'm hooked! I watched the youtube video you posted as well, and I cried. That song was gorgeous! the way you let the tension build throughout this chapter was masterful. i know i was taken in by the thought that the brothers could vanquish the attackers, and rescue the girls before they came to the life and death moment. it was such an amazingly climactic moment when misery and kagome faced each other at the end. i can't wait for the next chapter to see how this resolves! thank you for a fantastic chapter.

I miss a few weeks of reading this story and it takes a bizarre turn. Misery cannot die at Kagome's hands. It will destroy Kagome to have to kill her, as you so eloquently pointed out. You made it seem that she could do it, and to save the world she probably can, but it would destroy her inside. Sesshomaru also would not survive well without his mate. Cernonnus is going to be surprised that Kagome managed to shoot Misery. With Misery's "death" he loses his hold on the others and they can defeat him. After that Kagome can heal Misery, right. PLEASE let Misery survive somehow. She is to good a character to let die. I am now so thoroughly hooked on seeing what happens after this cliffie that I am not going to want to move away from my computer. I did want to mention that I really liked Inuyasha getting his ears back after he lost them and Sesshomaru's time with Misery. There were some well written emotional and character development chapters written there.
