Another great chapter! You amaze me everytime you post a new one. You really write the best B/V fics. And like the other reviewers have said, the relationship between Bulma and Yamcha is definitely appreciated. I hope you update soon!!

DANGETY! I haven't had thrill bubbles like that since "All By Myself." "Feeding Genius," as original as it is, can wait if you're giving us this one! Naughty of you to tease us with that dream, but I so did appreciate the Yamcha scene. He's so often underappreciated in fics, and I like how his relationship w/B gives texture & reference to B & V's. This is a marvelous writer's block you're having, btw--if you keep this up, I'll never get over my *own* dreams about Vegeta! (I must say, your imagination is more wicked than mine! Holy Hell woman!! They haven't done anything yet, and that's one of the sexiest chapters I've ever read - I think I'll have to stay away in future, or I'll start to be in love with Veggie again... :| Oh well, glad to see that you put your writers block to such good use - update!! :D

Great opening chapter. Bulma is so cute! It must have been so hard for her to ignore Vegeta. I wouldn't wish that on anybody. But it will probably work. He's already off his routine.

!! classic primo Ember chapter! This is the sort of stuff I relish in B/V fics, the simple sexual tension between two altogether different worlds/cultures but not totally altogether different people! Great dialogue-- "not altogether objectionable" --zing one! and "two out of three ain't bad"--zing two! One of the most attractive things about V is his naivete about human culture, makes him such an original and difficult romantic lead. You've got him down so well, here, where the tensions are the greatest, before he & B ever even touch. Thanks for the great read and for being such a prolific and generous B/V writer! debbiechan

I really like this fic, and all the characters. I especially like Bulma's and Yamcha's relationship, not the usually Yamcha bashing but an understanding of each other. And Vegeta's character (yes I am a devoted fan!) I love the dark mysteriousness you've got going with him. Bulma's and Vegeta's personality's match in a way, both honest and head strong but they are also complete opposites. I liked Vegeta's description of Bulma, if wasn't offensive, just honest. And Bulma has now ventured into uncharted territory was this newfound attraction to Vegeta, I hope she knows what she's doing. Looking forward to the next chap! ^_^

And another great fic of yours. How do you do it? I mean, you write really well. Everyone is so in character, and the dialogues are great. When I first started to watch the episodes, I never thought somebody could write all this. You really get into the characters and the way you describe everything is just great. Please keep up the good work, and I hope you keep updating your other fics too. =)

I'm enjoying this fic...I like the way Vegeta is so 'in character' with the clipped comments and abruptness. I like the way Bulma is so bubbly but thoughtful...very 'in character' also. I like the way you paint the setting ...the warm sun rays seeping into Bulma's skin. I love the line "There he was, throwing his ominous frame into the peaceful scene." great stuff!! *^_^* I love when he says "I don't plan to," hmmm *^_^* One of my favorite parts is when he rolls over on the grass to keep eye contact with her. I like when she can hear his steady footsteps behind her as she heads off to fetch the drinks...(and before that, when she could feel him looking at her.) {He seems very much to have picked up on her attempts at connection with him...and picked up on the absence of those same attempts on this evening...She definitely has his attention.}I look forward to reading the next chapter.

Ohhh - that was a great begining!! :D Long live writers block! :| (In a positive way, of course...) I loved the glimpse into Bulma's childhood - the thought of Dr Briefs arming the 'bots with water guns was precious!! I have a huge fondness for her parents, so I love it when people include them in their stories. I also love the silent Vegeta - damn girl, I wanted to run up to him and hug him in this (There go my suicidal tendencies again :| ) And, I don't get much opportunity to say this but, DAMN it's good to see an in character Yamucha!! :D:D Thank God I can trust you not to ruin a story by making him an abusive drunk, and Vegeta the knight in shining armour who has to rescue poor Bulma from Yamucha's evil clutches!! *Slaps forehead* Ahhh, actually watching and understanding the show makes all the difference, doesn't it?? :D Thank you for a great begining - now I have to go and cook up evil schemes to give you more blocks on the other fics... :D (AFTER you have the new chapters for the out, that is... )

oh goody, another Ember B/V get together fic! Yamcha is the devoted friend, Bulma is playful, Vegeta isn't saying much--all dead on perfect characterizations for the three years as I see them! I can't help but hope Yamcha will get a little broken up and wary about the whole B/V thing as it develops (if he's such a good friend, why that despondent look and sigh in the anime when the gang finds out who the father of Trunks is?) I think I like this beginning better than any of the epics you're doing now (but PUH LEASE don't abandon any of them!!!) Great characterizations, Vegeta is dead on fascinating and I like this playful Bulma!!!!! debbiechan
