Everyone's alive, Naraku's dead... sucks that Kags miscarried, but I'm sure Yash will be more than happy to try again... and again, and again... haha... But why is she sorry? I mean, yeah, it must suck, no more super powers, but she'll adjust. Right? It doesn't make her any less her, right? And of course we'll all miss Fenik's attitude, but he'll still be around... one more chapter til the end?

I assume that losing the child is what Kagome is apologizing to Inuyasha for. I am surprised by Kikyou making the sacrifice to seal the jewel though. I have been going between Kagome's child being the final soul or Feni being the last soul. Feni is a demon but he would protect Midoriko from other demons and would want to protect Kagome and her world so he would lean towards purity. One of the arguments against him would be the question of him possibly not having a soul. He is a sword demon so he might not have a soul either because he is a demon or because he is a sword. It would be interesting if Feni reincarnated (if possible) or Kagome and Inuyasha's child found Midoriko's reincarnated soul and became mates with her. It should be interesting to see what happens next. Does Kagome continue as Celestial Bodyguard? How does everyone react to the loss of her powers, both spiritual and demonic? Does she have more kids with Inuyasha? How many of her other skills does she retain?

| Reviewed By: Sharibet [MediaMiner Member] On: May 02, 2008 20:08 PDT Comment/Review: Brava! What a wonderful and dramatic ending to your story (minus the promised epilogue, of course!). Oh, man, poor Kumo. And poor Inuyasha, on both sides of the well. I really liked how you handled his last-night-before-the-battle with Kagome. Most excellent, my dear, and I can't wait to read the final installment!

God Reviewed By: Come Hither [MediaMiner Member] On: May 02, 2008 17:33 PDT Comment/Review: Checked my email a little bit ago and was jubilant to find Feni having a two-fer down at the ol' MM.org. But then Feni made me cry - not an easy feat, I tell you. I kinda sorta had a sneaking suspicion it was going to end up like that, but it still didn't prepare me for the gut wrenching reality (ok, it's a fic, I know this - not completely out of touch here), but damn! Since you didn't mention that was the absolute end of the story, I'm assuming there will be an epilogue or maybe a couple of chapters to wrap it up? Hopefully? And since you posted a double-deuce today, will there be a lenthened amount of time between the next installment? You're killin' me here. Oh, congrats on the award, by the way. You go, girl! *Does goofy white girl cabbage patch dance for you*

The emotion was so raw. I held my breath reading the chapter! I couldn't breathe! You are an Amazing writer! It was so real!!! I was sucked in it so deep that when it ended I just sat there for about 10 minutes! I'm so glad you didn't write the final battle out in detail that goes on and on it was so much better this way so unexpected yet amazing.

There's so much I want to know. What of all happened to her? Is she really ok? Arg! Too many questions. I hope you write another chapter soon. Either way, keep up the amazingly fantastic work.

| Title: Chapter 82 Reviewed By: Drake Clawfang [MediaMiner Member] On: May 02, 2008 12:54 PDT Comment/Review: I'll review 83 in a moment, for the time being, a good way to splice the end of the story in with the canon, because ever since Mt. Hakurei it really did drag on a lot, even moreso after the last shard was found. Great chapter.

Well, first, I wanted to say that even though this is basically a regurgitation (albeit slightly altered in places) of the anime, the story itself is pretty good. I DO, however, have a question as well as a couple of peeves regarding this fic. The question I have is about Miroku's behavior. Are you doing to have him be more in character later on in the story? It's just, everyone's change in characterization has painted them as being much more open, while Miroku has just become the more widely accepted stereotypical fanfic Miroku and consequently, even more closed off. As for the the other thing... A huge issue I have is the vast amount and the array of errors in this story (especially so far into it). There are a lot of spelling mistakes (i.e. 'armour' and 'focussed' instead of 'armor' and 'focused'), as well as more than a few word usage errors. My suggestion here would be to just get a beta (since I know it's hard for people to catch their own mistakes). Another issue I have is with some of the dialogue. I know Inuyasha and Co. are extremely out of character, but no amount of 'OOC-ness' would account or excuse 'medieval' (for lack of a better term) people and their casual use of phrases from the late 1980's and early 1990's (not to mention the corn factor just Kagome randomly stating them). So... yeah. Again, a beta would be great for that. One more thing. ...More of a question, really. Why do you have Miroku call the females "Sama", instead of by their names (Kagome-sama and Sango-san)? It just sounds strange. Especially when he uses it in what I guess would be a more casual conversation. --Wondering because the use of just a title is ungrammatical and doesn't really have a meaning in Japanese. The translation would actually be more formal (i.e. like using -dono) than attaching it to a person's name.--

This fic is so inspiring for me. There isn't a part of this fic that I don't like. Lol. You are truly amazing Fenik. I hope to read more soon. P.S. Do you think you could take the time to check out my newest fic Kyoofu? By the way it's dedicated to you!!! Until next chapter, Ja Ne! Tusuke Kounami

| Reviewed By: Raeko [MediaMiner Member] On: April 04, 2008 19:12 PDT Comment/Review: /sadface. I really hope you didn't kill off Tsu and Kohire. I liked having them around. It kind of makes me wonder about the future Sessh and Koga and crew, though. If they WERE killed, would any of them try to stop it? It seems like they're all waffling a bit between not interfering in what happened, a kind of time-paradox avoidance, and giving little almost-incomprehensible hints and a metric asston of supplies. And as for Tsu and Kohire, if they DID die, it seems like a pointless sort of waste--somebody could have just said, "Oh, and by the way, Tsu and Kohire should stay home from school today," and presto! Sigh. Great chapter anyway! I really liked how you handled Hakushin, and the Miroku/Sango action was pretty gripping! Also, I feel bad for all the nightmares Inuyasha will be waking up from starting...now. Poor guy is probably scarred for life! I suppose there's an easy way to know--I wonder if Yashita still has 'em, after all this time. ^.^
