I perfectly understand how it feels like to have people comment on how long it takes for a chapter. No stress! It´s worth the wait because it love this story. I was suspecting a romance between Midoriko and Fenik. It´s just so sad that they couldnt live it out. And The comment about the rabbit youkai, that is so Inuyasha, LOL. I cried when I learned that Kags had lost her miko powers and her baby. Does that also mean she is no longer mated to Inuyasha? Well at least she is alive. But what happens now? P.S.: Shippou abusing Inuyasha for a change, hilarious "Come on man snap out of it," ¨smack¨I Laughed for a while there, people at work just looked at me funny. You are a grand author, I do hope you continue to entertain us with what happens after the battle, and the oh-so-awaited soap opera between Yashita/Kags now that she won´t going back. I sit anxiously awaiting the next chapter There will be a final chapter right?, that I know will be jam packed with emotions and action.

Poor Kagome, but at least she's not stuck in a pink jewel for the rest of eternity. *Sigh* This is the, my only friend, the end. We get rap up chapter don't we? Gollie je wiz its been a long read, but I loved every bleeding second of it. I hope your muses arn't burned out after this. I just wanted to say before I hit the submit button that you've written a truely amazing story, I was entralled from word one, and I can't wait to see what else you might write.

Thank you very much This is one of the stories I read over and over again I use this and one or 2 other stories as a model when I read works by other authors I really like the fact that your characters do not miscommunicate (is that a word?) The difference between the Japanese culture and the American is gapped and the ultra politeness and subservient female image is negated Is chapter 83 the last one? I read your authors notes and you mention wrapping up the story - - is this it? Will you have an epilogue and possibly a sequel? Keep writing Let me know if you ever write any stories that are original, with your own story line and characters Again thank you Pam

I have been reading your story from day one, and I have to say that this is by far the best fic I have ever come across. In my opinon it is even better than the show. I hope that there is a sequil to this one.^_^ I would read this story over at least 1000 more times becase I enjoy it so much. Please contionue to write your wonderful story becuse we will all continue to enjoy every chapter.

Awesome! Well, this has been one helluva roller coaster ride, Ne? These last two chaps really kept me on the edge of my seat, hehe. And sorry, cant feel sorry for Kikyo here, shes caused too much trouble to he a fave character mine. But even with all Kagome's lost, least she's alive in the end. Heh, kinda ironic tho, Kikyo may not have gotten her own wish for herself so she passed it along to Kagome. Ah, just makes ya wonder sometimes, hehe. And as much as I love InuYasha in this, I just love your characterization of Yashita as well. To me they are same, but different as well, ifin that makes any sense. Uh, epilogue anyone? :D

Aha! So my name-sake gets the King of the Hutch! Well, good on her. Those two need to be re-incarnated and get a nice spin off on their own. Just saying. :p......... And the last part... ung. Damn, Kikyou, poor woman, taking Kagome's place in the jewel, and yet... doesn't that mean that the jewel somehow would still exist on some plane... *considers it*. I really is sad that Kagome lost her powers, but she no longer needs them, and it is a very good final touch of symbolism to the story. Pity she can no longer kick Sesshoumaru's ass, but something's gotta give. And their child.... whoo, that one was a really chilling touch, having her eliminate the little one herself through force of the better good. But *hug* all that did was make me want that epilogue more. Go on, you know you wanna write it! I'll even bring cookies!

Gah Kikyo... I just wanna *makes wringing motions* >< Nice job not completely raging on Inuyasha's decision. Way too many authors tend to go off a an bit of a tangent when it comes to Kikyo-Inuyasha meetings. *give you a cookie* Well, a new character. And he sounds adorable! ^^ Very open and expressive for a soldier though. Must be new... Again, you might want to double check those meanings, but otherwise, another great chapter. *continues reading*

Well... Note to self: don't read anymore reviews hoping for insight to the author's writing/the shape of the story. I'm wondering when Kagome got pregnant and if/why no one's noticed, but I guess I'll find out when I get to it. In any case, this story is pretty good so far. Apparently, you're finished, so I won't bother asking for an update. Though, I do hope you continue writing. I like the flow of this story and the amount of time you allowed for the progression of Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship, as well as the time for Kagome to become more acclimated to her new abilities/powers. I'm just hoping that the final battle will be suspenseful and that you won't place all the action on Kagome's shoulders (those tend to feel rushed and a bit like cop-outs). I do wonder where Kikyo fits in all this though (someone mentioned a 'sacrifice')? That should be interesting... Well, I'll get back to reading. And I'll be sure to review more often. *wavies* JA! Oh! I forgot. I have one suggestion/bone to pick. Proof-reading; if only for the Japanese vocabulary you sprinkled throughout this fic. Specifically, the word 'sama'. '-sama', like -dono, -san, -kun, -chan, etc. are suffixes. -Sama means 'Mr.' or 'Mrs.'/'Miss', but only when attached to a person's name (i.e. Sesshomaru-sama). The terms has a completely different meaning when it stands alone (means either 'appearance' or 'manner' when used how you have). And nothing in the Japanese language is made plural by adding an 's' at the end. ...I think that's it...

You delivered on death with sharp, pointy teeth! DAMN! Kumo's deaths & Fen's going was the hardest! Kagura was kinda expected, and Kikyo had to…well, hers was more of a final resting. Got a lot of respect for her decision to take Kag's place in the jewel. Yeah, Git & Mom finally got together! Poor Yashita…one and done! LOL! Everyone gets some lovin'! The tears started with the fall into the well, and will one day stop. Midoriko & Fenik's parting was heart wrenching! The loss of the child was expected but there will be more. My head is alllll over the place so the best I can say now is…..that was AWESOME!! Will there be a wrap chappie or 2? Ya know I hate for this to end, but there is great comfort in that fact this is one of those rare stories that can be read over & over & over! Many kudos to you & your wonderful betas!!

Well it's taken me most of the weekend to find enough backbone to read the final installment of Phoenix Blade. I was not disappointed. I found it easier as time went on to see that Yashita and Inuyasha as essentially the same. As I saw more personality traits expressed by both, and saw Inuyasha start to grow throughout, it was easier knowing he was left behind. I thought having the two share their last night together before kicking Naraku's ass was a nice touch. And who would have thought Midoriko, and Fennie had a thing going on, and Git getting down and serious. You did an amazing job, this is a story that will be hard to let go of. Kudos to you and your incredible support group, I know whenever I see their names associated with a story that's it worth my time to read. Looking forward to whatever you have in the works. Amazing, simply amazing! You had me shedding a couple of tears by the end of the last two chapters. I had a sinking feeling that something was going to happen to Feni. Aw man! Did Midoriko and Feni really have to be separated? They were so cute together. Oh and Kagome's baby, i bet she's going to be beating herself up about the baby's death for a while (Yashita better comfort her! *wink*)! These two chapters were superb even if i was heart broken for a while after. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I guess it's always that way you must lose something to gain something. I just never figured she would have to lose quite that much. I'm still teary eyes. These two chapters have been truly heart renching. I love all of these characters so much. I can't wait to read the next one. Thanbk you for sharing such a wonderful story with us all.
