(A/N: this chapter takes place just before Seto & Yami decide to go to the Domino fete, k? Okay.)

Nobody was in the library; Ada had closed it for the day because nearly everyone was at the fete.

Ada sat in her desk-chair, shutting her eyes to rest for awhile until a sudden noise interrupted her nap and she quickly opened them.

The figure stood before her smirking evilly, Ada gasped in surprise and sudden fright.

"Someone such as you should have been expecting me but then, why are you so surprised?" the figure asked

Ada stood up as best she could and replied, "My power -"

The figure cut her off, "Has grown weak like last time, I know." It said "You have made the same mistake as last time, Isis."

Ada frowned, "And what is that?" she asked

"By not giving me your power willingly, you do now I've been draining it from you?" the figure answered

Ada's eyes grew wide, "W-what?" she gasped

"Just like last time, I saw everything but, it's going to be different this time. This time I shall beat the anointed one!" the figure replied

Ada shook her head, "After all these centuries, you are still trying to win and defeat our lord's son." She said

The figure laughed, "Yes maybe but as I said, it is different this time." He explained "I know just how to defeat your little lord's son."

"You are the child of Satan!" Ada hissed

The figure nodded, "Yes, I am." It chuckled "But I'm afraid you won't be seeing my brilliant plan in action, Isis."

Ada took a step backwards, "What d-do you m-mean by t-t-that?" she stuttered fearfully

"What I mean is," the figure replied "I'm going to kill you, again!"

~ (A/N: okay back to normal time.)

Simon stepped into Yami's room and began his search, he saw the window open and Yami was nowhere to be found; his worst fears were true (or so he thought.)

He opened one of Yami's desk draws and gasped; it was full of wicked and evil paintings which made his skin crawl.

He scattered them along the desk and examined every one of them in horror before searching Yami's room some more…

He looked under Yami's pillow and noticed a small red book there, he took it out and muttered the words written clearly in beautifully neat writing on the front,

"Yami's Journal." He knew he shouldn't read it but it may confess what Yami had done, so he opened the book and was surprised to find a black rose placed inside.

He read through the very last pages, "Seto Kaiba?" he muttered

It did not confess what he wanted to hear so Simon put it back and thought for a moment, "Now… where could he be?" he asked himself

Yami gasped as he gazed at all the people in front of him, "Wow Seto, there's so many people here!" he cried

Seto smiled, "It's almost the whole of Domino." He said "Now, what would you like to do first?"

Yami grinned back at Seto, "Let's go on the games," he replied, pulling Seto towards one.

Seto looked at it; it was a dart board, if you got a high score you got a good prize.

"Okay Yami, I'm gonna win you that huge teddy there." Seto exclaimed

Yami blinked, "Are you sure Seto? That's the best prize," he asked

Seto took some darts from the man who was supervising the game, "Positive, I'm brilliant at this, you'll see." He answered confidently

"If you say so Koi,"

Seto started the game quite nicely but ended up being too confident for his own good and only won a lollypop which Seto wouldn't take without trying again.

"Seto let me try wining it." Yami said

Seto looked slightly surprised, "What - no, Yami. It's a waste of time, it's impossible!" he replied

Yami looked at the dart board, "Are you saying I can't win it?" he asked

Seto tried to chose his words carefully, "Well, if I couldn't win then you…" he trailed off

Yami glared at Seto, "Just because you can't do it doesn't mean I can't do it Seto!" he said angrily "And to prove this, I will win the game."

And win the game, to Seto's shock, he did. Yami held the huge teddy in his arms triumphantly while smirking at the dumbstruck Seto.

"Well, got anything to say for yourself?" Yami asked

"Wow - I mean, sorry Yami." Seto apologised "Guess I was being pig-headed."

Yami nodded, "Yeah you're…" he stopped when he saw a little girl crying

"Yami, what is it?" Seto asked

"Seto, could you wait here a minute please." It was more than a statement than a question from Yami.

Seto watched Yami walk up to a small girl in puzzlement, "Okay…" he muttered

"Hello, is there something the matter?" Yami asked her

The girl looked up at him, "I've lost my bunny and mommy and I can't find him." She sniffed

Yami nearly melted at the cute but sad reply, "Arr…Well, does your bunny have a name?" he replied

"Mittens," she said

"Mittens you say? Mmm… and what is your name?" Yami asked

"Lilly." Lilly replied sadly

"What a pretty name, my name is Yami and I've been looking for you. Mittens told me he was sad he had to leave you for awhile and so he gave me a present to give to you today." Yami exclaimed

Lilly gasped, "Really? What is it?" she asked

Yami handed Lilly the teddy he had won, "This." He replied

The girl smiled happily causing Yami to smile back, "Does he have a name?" she whispered

Yami looked at the bears blue eyes and nodded, "His name is… Seto." He answered "Now, you take good care of him, okay? Goodbye Lilly."

Yami began walking back towards Seto when he heard Lilly's cheerful goodbye, "Thank you Yami!"

Seto looked at Yami, "Someone you know?" he asked

Yami shrugged, "Yes, now anyway." He replied

"Why did you give her the teddy?" Seto asked

Yami shrugged again, "I don't know, I just wanted to." He answered

"But did you think that maybe I wanted it?" Seto joked

Yami shook his head, "Sorry, didn't think of that." He replied

Seto laughed, "Na, its okay. That girl probably wanted it more than me anyways." He said

Yami linked arms with Seto; the day was just getting started.
