I think that whole knobby knee conversation just about made this chapter for me xD. That was some funny stuff. But man! What a place to end it! Talk about cliff hanger! I feel like Im dangling! I sense...a distressed Evan coming up in the next chapter. I mean, having the lady he loves terrified of him? Mhm, I sense it coming! But I was so sure Valerie was like...gonna run away from him, and leave him watching her all pained like....I cant wait to see what happens! Keep em comin girl! *pumps pom poms in the air for you* Oh, by the way, I randomly thought of something the other day while watching The Little Mermaid. Gin reminds me of Ariel! Im not sure why I thought that...but one point during Ariels little trip through the town with Eric just...made me think "Gin!" lol xD.

o. i see. -bangs head on table- i feel like a ditz. sorry. anyway, i liked the last bit a lot. don't know why... dramatic moments like that where its all hazy and stuff makes the chapter much better... and seriously, i'm starting to fall in love with Evan Zelig, the side Valerie likes so much, but i believe it's one of the first times Evan didn't stick in an innuendo when Valerie was staring. lol hakamas... so many different colors. waiting for rainbow to show up in future fics. :D sticking in more Diet/Evan angst in, lovely. he wrote a song for him! aw :3 yay Jillian got to visit, and of course we all saw the whole "who is she" Q coming on. :P always fun. o wow i can't wait till he explains his family tree to Valerie... OMG so I haven't written a review in a very long while but believe that I have read every chapter that's been posted within hours of it's being posted. I am SO glad that you're back and I hope that everything continues to go well at home. Literally this story just makes my day so that even when I'm down I see my email and it says there's a new chapter I immediately have to get back to my dorm or a computer to read. Thank you so much!!! On another note, woah this chapter was AMAZING! I can not WAIT to see how the rest of their relationship progresses; my anticipation is slightly ridiculous. Poor baby! Evan can be so asinine then turn around and be so deep and meaningful. And then V she has a past we know this put she should know that anyone who is truely your friend shouldn't judge but listen. And I don't think Madison or Evan would EVER turn away from her, I'm just waiting for the day she trusts them enough to find out. Great chap.

(second guy.) i liked this chapter a lot because the image makes me fall in love... glittering nyc traffic lights in the background with the two of them strolling through the busy night life. and as (visually) cliche as the last scene is, it makes me awfully reminiscent of a really good anime or drama (except the only difference is that i know that Evan won't disappear after some car passes by the camera, although maybe he will i don't know that seeing as he's youkai and stuff). :3 liked this chapter a lot. [btw no hard feelings but i'm taking your no response to my earlier question as a no, we haven't covered Mike's youkai... or maybe you're irritated at me for being too lazy to look back and check, no?] faithfully waiting, your Purity♥er, ~FF7I

Hnnn...this chapter brings a few things to light. I suppose that whole labeling thing has something to do with Evans bitterness towards Cain and Bas? Wouldnt surprise me. And the fact that Valerie never had a label was because...her parents were just never there? I dunno, thats what I got from that and previous chapters xD. Oooooh, questions answered, and yet even more rise up! Gree!!! I cant wait for the ending and the answers to all these darned questions! Personally, I loved the update (not that I never do love them), but this one was just...mm! Some good, pure, Evan and Valerie time *nodnod*. Cant wait for the next one!

YAY! She's getting closer to the inner workings of Evan Zelig. That's cute! This chapter was so... emotionally grabbing. It reeled me in with literally every word. The pain Evan felt, the slight moments of joy, the empathetic nature of V... it's all so surreal yet real at the same time. It's amazing, I love it. Makes me want to grow up and find a person like Evan. I mean one year isn't too long to wait but still... That'd be a dream come true. Keep up the AWESOMENESS!! -MSMND
