My two cents on V and Evan...She loves him, there's already proof enough of that with how she reacted when the shooting happened and she was left out of the loop. Evan's already recognized her as his mate, or something akin to it. Valerie's just afraid. It was mentioned earlier that she was with Marvin because he's 'safe'. So it stands to reason, that the only reason she isn't with Evan, is because she believes that to love is to be hurt. If Evan can find out where that belief stems from and help her move past it, maybe take her to see her family even, she'd let herself love him - truly love him. At least, that's how I see it.

First, wonderful as per usual!! Second, I actually feel badly for Evan now (with regard to his love life... or lack there of). I can't wait for your next chapter. And may I say poor Bone I mean really no one needs to see your boss' junk. Personally I would be scared for life (then agian my boss isn't a uber-hot rock star/underwear model- hehehe). Anyway again wonderful chapter.

Aww, there was no V in this chapter...well, she was mentioned, so I guess that counts. I dont think she would be too happy if she found out what Evan was thinking about her, though. (Or maybe she would be and just wouldn't admit it.)

Glad you liked the devil comment. It is because it seems like in most of the purity stories the youkai is "the voice of reason" but Evan's youkai is as bent as he is.... Poor Bone having to watch that... but I thought he would be use to it by now.
