I knew she was pregnant! *Proud* I think that's the only thing I suspected. ^^;;;; My god... The horribleness continues (not the chapter - that was great - I mean the events within the chapter). Fortunately, it's almost over. *Throws confetti* The beginning chapters are falling into place now. Here it goes... My prediction: They destroy both Masakazu and Ryuji in a somewhat unpredictable yet bloody battle over the rod and escape (Hiei's slightly, ok more than slightly, injured). I'm thinking Masakazu tries to kill the Seer but Kagome protests and tries to save her and in turn needs rescuing. Several other, unknown, ranging in power level youkai, attack them as they're getting away. Youkai that want the Shikon no Tama as well as Kagome's death (since she's blindly pure and everything). Hiei of course protects her and the fetus, //go daddy!// that is until they get to the clearing (can't believe it's still a clearing after 300 years). In comes Youko! He, of course wants the jewel. Not because he desires power or immortality or anything. But because it's pretty and more importantly - rare (there's only one. How much more rare can you get?). Hiei then turns to fight him off - not knowing the kitsune yet - and Kagome somehow falls into the well. I'm guessing after their fight, in which Youko retreats since the jewel has "disappeared", we then speed up to the present. This is where Hiei's flashback is concluding after which he continues to travel to that place where the team 'will least expect him to be' aka the shrine (?), finds Kagome and *GASP* the BABY~!! Yeah, I know I'm probably really off which my prediction/assumption, but I just wanted to get it out there. Who knows? I could be somewhat correct. In any case, I'm running out of space in which to write my review (and I'm getting hungry ^^;;;). Your chapter was great, as I so sloppily mentioned about 3 paragraphs ago, and… Yeah. Yay! An update! I'm so glad you're continuing the story and I look forward to future updates. I would love to give helpful advice for your reviews, but you're already better than me in the writing category. As such, I have no useful criticisms.
