This is one of best Inuyasha fanfictions I've ever read. I've been riveted for the last two days trying to find out what happens. You've managed to stay within the spirit of the anime while giving the characters depth, and I really like how you haven't given in to every single convention of IY fanfiction-dom. Sesshoumaru's character is a little more animated than we've seen, but you've kept him from being coldly clinical at every turn. His impending relationship with Rin has been dealt with very delicately so I don't get the sense of near-pedophilia I've often come to associate with S/R fanfic. You've presented that puts the characters' lives in a off-kilter, barely standing transition, and you're holding it together very nicely. I'm also impressed that Miroku hasn't turned into a Lothario-type, nor has Sango completely, suddenly turned into a nympho. I'm a little unsure as to whether Kagome would be *that* unaware of Inuyasha's true feelings, but you've backed it up and I can believe it. I like how stilted their relationship seems since neither of them has made a real move in several years, and the false-starts have heightened my anticipation. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Please take any criticism lightly and constructivly. I'm not at all suprised your fic has won awards. You've done a wonderful job.

I thought this chapter was very well written. The many subjects flowed effortlessly. There was quite a bit in it. The ending scene at the well, discussions of many different things, new barriers, baths, weddings, talks of mating, bridal gifts, insecurities, and injuries. This list does not even cover everything. You are quite good at this writing thing. I will not go on and on; just saying that I enjoyed it and I look forward to the next chapter. Can not wait, Cynbad146

First the salt: "Maybe a different tact was needed." -- I think this should be "tack". It's a sailing metaphor. Now the sugar: Souta was just awesome. I'm thinkin Inuyasha is going to regret not getting the downlow (my demon hand typed "download") from Myouga. But the last scene, with Shippou revealing his true form, was the best, the whole gestalt of the reveal, Shippou's reasoning and the others' reactions.

Yay!!! A new chapter. I thought it was great! I loved the scenes with Souta and InuYasha. Heck, I loved the entire chapter and I really can't wait to read the next one! Excellent work!

You finally updated yaay! I though the scenes between Inuyasha and Souta were funny, I can't believe Souta is more mature than Inuyasha. I will eagerly await the next chapter, as well as the lemon. Let's just hope Myouga gets to tell Inuyasha how to bond themselves to each other.

Oh Please, Oh Please, Oh Please.....UPDATE ^_^ I've been waiting SO patiently for you to update and I've tried not to pester (you DID send me an e-mail in January saying you would be updating very soon), and I know how RL can be......but, I couldn't stand it, I needed my fix, I'm just a junkie--what can I say?? This story is absolutely amazing so far and I have no doubt your future chapters will be just as amazing! ^^ Honestly, you have now made me a fan of your work after this fic. Your writing draws the reader in and you have a depth into the minds of the characters that few authors show. Many of the thoughts you have on the Kagome and Inuyasha situation are identical to my own. You have all of their characters portrayed perfectly. I know earlier on you had mentioned concerns over Sesshomaru but you were right, he'd make alliances if it meant he could keep Rin safe. You have to admit, even if Sesshomaru did have feelings for Kagura at one point in time or another, she still smelled liek Naraku. She would always smell like Naraku since she was a part of him and always would be even if she had her heart back. Sesshomaru could never stand the smell of Naraku and as you've said smell is very important to youkai. I can see Sesshomaru waiting till Rin is old enough. Anyways, that's beside the point. I only brought it up to show how great your characterization is. To be honest, I'm mostly concerned with Inu and Kags, but who isn't? hehe That last moment between them was PERFECT and Inuyasha was 100% believable and I love the unique angle you're taking him with since it is the most believable portrayl of him I have seen so far. You're right that he's never been accepted this way before or been touched. I just love your portrayl of the whole situation! ^^ Kagome's reactions are perfect to and you're right that she needs to start having more faith in herself and Inuyasha. I am dying to read your next chapter soon. I did read your livejournal though so I do know you've been through some stuff lately. I am sorry to hear about the recent death you went through and I do hope you, your friends and family feel better soon. I'll be anxiously awaiting the next update to this great story! ^^
