Kagome hasn't been the same since her father died, although she won't admit it. Her dad's and her art, masterpieces once hung around the house, have been stored in her father's room never to be seen again. She still draws, but as soon as she's done she puts them in her father's room.

Everyone seems to notice, even her mother, who has come up with the idea she should join student council so she can be more social. Apparently everyone has to have a partner in student council, and Kagome just had to be paired with Inuyasha, the most popular guy in school. Maybe he can help her be the way she used to, but he hides something also.
