I was disappointed with the ending to Spirited Away so I wrote my own version of how I would have liked it to turn out. Chihiro leaves the Spirit World as before and Haku keeps his promise and returns to her. Her parents not wanting to leave someone on the streets allow Haku into their home. Ignorant of the love that their daughter and the boy share.
