Sora, Kairi, and Riku have been split up to different worlds. With one last chance, Sora sends one of new friends to find and protect Kairi. Traveling the routes of the Heartless, Sora's friend becomes one of the Heartless himself. When he finds her, he tells her that he can find Sora for Kairi.
