Detailed Summary:

Kagome was a young princess in the Shikon Kingdom under the rule of her ruthless father, King Higurashi. Under strict order of the law, he had banished all living youkai from within the kingdom, including Inuyasha, Kagome’s closest childhood friend. So many painful memories…all of them Kagome was forced to forget. So much had happened in the past, but when Kagome discovers that it may have been her fault that the demons were banished in the first place, she digs deep into their history to find a 500 year old curse, people among them who may be the walking dead, and a spell cast on a sacred jewel that can only be removed by the jewel’s rightful owners. She cannot do it alone, however. She needs the help of a youkai: a hanyou by the name of Inuyasha. As secrets are revealed, trust is betrayed, memories are reawakened, and the road to the truth is unveiled, Kagome and Inuyasha may find that there is no one else they can rely on more than each other.
