Cliffhangers seem to be my lot in life today...*sighs pathetically* I'm finally getting around to reading all the updates from stories on my favorites list, and so far all three of them leave off at a horrible spot! Is this 'be cruel to readers' month or something and I just missed hearing about it? LOL Ah well, at least the next update will be worth waiting for, I'm sure. And out of all thes stories I'm following right now, this is certainly a top contender for my favorite. ^_^ Keep up the wonderful work!

i am so excited that you updated! wonderful chapter!! i love your story.. it's so unique! i haven't read one like it. at least kagome and inuyasha shared another moment alone. go miroku!! :o) i can't wait for them to actually admit they love each other!!! anyways, thank you for the update!! i hope you update soon! :o)

lovely story! i am addicted. please please please update soon. i've fallen out of touch with inuyasha fanfics because i found them all too similar and cheesy. but this one is different. this one is creative and interesting, with just the right amount of sexual tension....which will hopefully lead to a steamy sex scene...tasteful of course....but hot none the less! i love the way you've brought in sango and i love that shippo is trying to get yasha and kagome together, it's so adorable and heartbreaking. i hope to see a father son scene sometime with inu and shippo, the little guy deserves some love. anyways, sorry for going on and on. love the story, please update soon!!!

Amazing story, truly unique! I started reading 'Sachi' on AFF and I was quite taken with it back then! I'm so glad that I've found it once more on MM. You have a lot of talent, I really enjoy your style of writing! You depict your characters very well, they all still seem to be in character most of the time. It's always so thrilling to me when I see you have updated one of your story's. Your very very good at building intrigue and mystery surrounding all your characters. As to my guess what exactly is going on in this story... I'm not certain I should probably go back and re-read the chapters you have already posted to make everything fresh in my mind. But the story is fascinating I am thrilled to see sango and equally thrilled to see her kick miroku's butt in shogi LOL! Kagome falling into the bath is kinda scary I am assume the water is near scalding because of someone turning up the boiler. But why? and why were the drying rags missing? ::ponders:: I'm not certain. Although it killed me to see kagome fall... what a little cliffy! there is so much going on in this story and we know so little as always can't wait for the next chapter hope your head is feeling better!

I think the sense you're giving the characters really helps to carry the story. You're doing an amazing job of keeping us from figuring out Kagome's past, I'm so in the dark. I love the interaction between Miroku and Sango and can't wait to see more of that. So I hope you update soon!

I do want to add that all the characters seem to be in a state of mind to escape something from the past, denial, or just plain hiding. I get the feeling that Sango is searching for Kagome possibly, or as assasin for something evil this way comes. Something evil is definitely coming our way. Love the K/I relationship development. It carries a LOT of feeling... Guess I've said enough. I will quit typing now. Thanks for listening/reading. Cynbad146

Hmmmmmmm. You want to know my "impression" of the characters or what I "sense" about them all. Let me leap way out on this limb. I am wondering (or sensing) if they all have been involved in some past castastrophe, of which some may not remember all, or possibly separately involved; and things are coming to a head again, regardless. Throw in some unavoidable but familiar sexual attraction, angst, and hilariouty (word? oh well, it's a word now)and you have one fabulous story. They all seem in character to me, though the setting is OC; you may clarify otherwise later. Actually, your characters (or story) conveys what they feel, very, very well. I liked Shippo and Miroku plotting. I noticed that Kagome realized she knew about Kanji and Youkai healing from her past. The steamy bath/fix the pipe scene was . . . steamy! It was so well written that it seemed like freeze frames of instant sexual attractions and reactions, with the following dominoe effects between K and (shirtless)I. Evil, evil cliffhanger. I will not survive a month wondering about that. Nice scene with M and S. Fantastic job Quillwing717. Keep going!!!! Cynbad146

Hi quiilwing.I don't know if my review helped any (or if it was just on of my many coincidences)but I am so happy that you updated. As usual you did not disappoint but instead you gave an incredible chapter with an order of events that I was not expecting. The feeling of the characters is ever present and the whole attitude of the story and the way it's headed is phenomenal. Thank you again for making my day and I hope that additional chapters are up and coming.

Happy Dance! I was so happy to see that you updated on this fic. I love it! The way you write everyones personalities. I really like Kagomes knowlegde without knowing where or how she learned the things. Also very hapy to see the introduction of Sango.

This is by far the best fanfiction I've ever read. It's one I look forward to every time it's updated! You have such a great style of writing and the pace is great. I rarely see any grammatical/spelling errors, which is very refreshing. I can't wait for the next chapter! Keep up the brilliant work!

Probably one of the best modern era Canon InuYasha fic's I've seen. Canon being that the characters are themselves and the relationships are traditional. I really enjoy this story. Thank you. -TK
