Well I have a lot to comment on but first: Holy crap! The prescription is made by Taisho industries?!!? Hah! That is hilarious! It was made with love by Inuyasha's father! So anyway - the actual review: the exchange between Kagome's father and Kagome was great. Just one question though - what's his name? And at the end, I was kind of confused. After Kagome yelled, "Why today? Why now? After all of these years, why did you wait to come see me? I hate you! I fucking hate you!" is her father still in the room? Or did he actually leave? And does Jakotsu make an appearance at the end? (He's the only person that I think would call Kagome "poodle.") I honestly can't wait until the talk with Inuyasha's father! It's going to be so tempestuous!!! Honestly, there's not much footage of Inupapa in the anime series, or the manga series, or the movies. I remember in Curse of the Dragon that he was kind of benevolent in many ways, trying to keep inu alive and all. But in Shades of Grey he's kind of…evil. The biggest conflict stems not really from Bankotsu, but from the fathers of each family. Bankotsu is like the side effect of every fucked up thing the fathers do. In many ways, I'm picking up a lot of Shakespeare in your fic (I LOVE IT!!!) It's like an awesome mix of Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, and even King Lear. But anyway: one criticism…I thought that Inuyasha kind of recovered quickly from Kagome finding out and telling him to fuck off. Wouldn't Inuyasha be at least a little bit worried about Kagome exposing him to certain people in an act of anger and impulse? When Jiro was pushing him to talk to their father, Inuyasha didn't want to talk to him understandably. But then, after Sesshoumaru shows up, Inuyasha magically changes his mind. While Inuyasha's problems might seem like cake compared to the problems of good ole Sesshiles, the change seems to be so abrupt. (Switching gears) Okay so while I was rereading, the thought of life expectancy suddenly occurred to me. Let's say Inu/Kag and Sess/Rin pull through in the end; Kag and Rin are humans…how are they going to survive for the same time as the Taisho brothers?? Final thought: I love Kagejiro!! Are you going to give him a girlfriend? Haha peace!

ooh, I needed a break from the agunst party of the previous chapter so I waited to read this one until now. Sheesh its like a sh!t storm that just wont quit. Good golly gee gosh I sure do hope the sun comes out soon, everyone deserves a little happiness. But I get the feeling your not done with them yet.

i find it amazing that sess actually went to 'amend' things with rin. wow, he really had to swallow some pride to do that! and rin's reaction, she truly has MASSIVE balls. but then, being with him, you'd have to. i'm glad tho, that he went to her to 'apologize'... in his way. i knew he would melt when he saw kenren. his heart is only 7/8ths stone. lol. now as for the (i would say 3 stooges, but may risk eminent messy death) three bros heading to see papa-san. man, is it gonna be a blood bath? i'm worried, but i guess i should trust you instead. it makes things easier on the stomach. ^_^ hopefully you will feel better soon. it sux to be sick. and i know the last thing you wanna do is type, so just know that your new update is very very appreciated. and i almost forgot... kags dad can go get #@!*ed. what a lousy excuse for a father!! grrrrr!

Yay! I love the whole inu sibling 'lets throw all our screw ups in Da's face a the same time' thing. Thats gonna be awesome. Not so sure how I feel about Jak comforting Kags right now. Yeah, he's pretty much the perfect one for it right now, but I'd still be pissed at him. He did a fucked up thing. And go Seshiles for growing some and apologizing to Rin. Can't wait for the next chapter.

well, all these people have some nerve! their lives are all fucked up. i can't wait to see how you resolve this. because this is no easy task. i mean, there are a lot of problems running around here. and i would really like to know what went on behind closed doors w/ rin and sess. kagome needs to pick herself up. anyway, more soon!

Yeah...I didn't think kagomes dad was THAT bad...he's a freakin basterd! As for kikyo...she's an annoying bitch! She may be pretty on the ouside but she is just plain ugly on the inside. The little baby runs home to dady and mommy and tells on kagome. Good lord if I was inuyasha I would rather be dirt poor then to be with that three year old brat (that's how she acts). Not to mention she's pretty much a whore. How can he stand her?! Okay now that I got all of that out of my system....great chapter. I love this story a lot. I just hope Inuyasha and kagome get togather soon. Kikyo and both Inuyasha and kogome parents are driving me nuts! Even kagome makes me want to strangle her....and I want to punch inuyasha.Lol! Man...I want to beat ALL of the characters up in your story. Except rin.

Very awesome, as usual. I'm so glad Sesshoumaru is starting to get it. I'm also glad Rin let him say his piece. And now he has a family that he actually loves. I don't see him letting his father take that from him. And Inuyasha is about to lose everything. At least his older brother seems to care about what happens to him. I doubt Jiro will let him sleep on the side of the road. Kagome's father is a real douche. I just wonder what she and her mother are going to do now. They were having money problems before and this is only going to make it worse. I wonder if she'll be able to finish college or if she'll have to move back home. I can't wait for the next chapter. It should be wonderful. Thanks for the update.

BEST LINES ever...(my favourite is still "then you have never played rugby with a bottle of propane.") He had been told once that he could sell a painting to a blind man without a single doubt. Rin bit back in disgust. "Oh, give it a rest. (grins) Okay, so here I am, on the computer at, like, midnight. I check my email. I see the MediaMiner alert and I see that it's for Shades of Gray. My laptop (which does not have that name for nothing, might I add) nearly topples off my lap in my rush to get to the damn URL. I scroll to the bottom 'cause I like to read replies and who should I see but little ol' me! You dedicated this to me, how sweet! o^^o (You can't see it, but I'm blushing.) I am just so touched that it was ME who spurred you to write this awesomely magnificent chapter! Again, I blush! I loved how things kicked off with Rin and Sesshoumaru, and I especially love how resilient she was--up until Kenren's appearance, of course. That part was priceless. Then came Kagome's jerk-off father, who obviously has nothing better to do than piss on his daughter's life as it goes up in flames...with his...nitrogen urine. --; I mean, really, that was cold. But then Jakoutsu made a reappearance, so that's always fun. And of course, we get to Inuyasha, and things finally build up to (dun-dun-dun-DUH!) The Great Visit to Daddy Taisho's House! Starring the Dashing Taisho Brothers: Hot Inu, Sexy Sesshy, and introducing Gorgeous (yet deadly) Kagejiro! I had a commercial moment. ^^; Those tend to happen when you're reading fanfiction in bad light at one in the morning...but I digress. Lovely chapter, dearest, and you must continue!

Damn...I think i was much too happy to see the email that said new chapter in my email. I ripped through the chapter too quickly and now i feel like i'n into drug withdrawal- damn it...should have stretched out the enjoyment some more. Great writing though as usual for this chapter. Another twist to the loop and more wonderful words to keep us hooked- You, my dear, have a quite a gift, truly a remarkable aptitude for spinning a tale. I truly look forward to seeing more from you- a next chapter and/or a next story- take your pick. Don't worry about the lenght between updates either. Like i said, your readers are hooked and if they are anything like me, as long as we get a bone at sometime, were good until the next one gets tossed. PS...i take it that it is quite FORTUNATE the story still has a way to go. I still have that much more to look forward to!

I hate Kikyo right now, I hate Inuyasha's daddy, I hate Kagome's daddy, and I just dislike all this negativity towards Kagome. She has faults, but her daddy is truly the definition of an asshole. I hope he goes bankrupt! GOSH! Ahaha, update as soon as you can!(X
