OH WOW!!!!!! my mouth must have hit the proverbial floor about a hundred times!!!!!! who knew Jiro hid such pain!!!! and damn inuyasha's father...poor rin though, sesshomaru better make it better!!!! UPDATE SOON I AGREE 3 YEARS IS WAAAAAY TOOO LONG!!!!! wait, so is bank gone for good? and what about kikyo's affairs? r those gonna come out anytime soon? Kagome should of thrown those in her face!! how could she stand there and take it???! update soon !!!!

Hi! Thanks a bunch for writing that chapter. I think Kikyo's actions were understandable. I mean if i found my cousin and my boyfriend together, i think i would react a lot harshly. But i think that secretly, Kikyo doesnt love Inuyasha so completely (it's a conditional love that they have) so she doesnt feel as angry as she would be had she been completely in love with inuyasha. Jakotsu's actions really bothered me (especially in the previous chapter) he deliberately sold out Kagome, even though he thought it was in the best interests of her. Friends can do what they must but i feel that in the end, friends are just friends and the situation between Inuyasha and Kagome was too complicated for such blatant revealing. Just a question: why doesnt kagome realize it's inuyasha in the club? Can she truly forget sha? Will she return to the club? Also, how can inuyasha just leave Kikyo alone like that if he intends to stay with her? Inuyasha seems to be complicating things more than they should be. Miroku has a point. If he really loves her, then he should be with her. Inuyasha's father seems to be the ultimate "bad guy" in this entire thing, because he has so much influence over his sons' actions, it's almost sickening. There comes a time when you just say "screw you", and i hope that time comes soon for both Kagome and Inuyasha. So, if Kagome's father called Kagome a whore, then that must mean Kikyo should know the truth (about that one time before the divorce.) If that's the case, I am starting to dislike Kikyo and her pretentiousness. I hope to see another update soon because your fanfic is amazing. It beats my required reading list any day.

Wow... cousin or not, I think I would say to hell with Kikyo after that whore/rape comment. Thank god for 'Jiro being there to talk some sense to Inuyasha, and I hope he realizes he doesn't need his father with him there. As far as Jakotsu, I could see how he'd think it was helpful. Still, if pulling them apart was his goal, apparently he didn't factor in ruining her relationship with her cousin and the fact that it's just removing one big issue and (hopefully) pushing them closer together. I hope she broke his nose too! xD Anyways... Looking forward to the next chapter, but I'm guessing that Bankotsu is going to be popping back up soon? Bleh! But I'm excited either way. (:

Everything left me breathless. I can't believe how cold hearted their father is. I can't believe how much of a hypocrite Kikyo is. I can't believe Inuyasha finally admitted to loving Kagome verbally. Frankly, I can't believe alot of things. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT UPDATE! I am so excited to read what happens next. (:

This story is probably one of the best if not best I have ever read. I glad that you finally updated because the wait was killing me so thanks. This has everything from action to romance almost and lots of drama which is why it holds one attention. Plus the writing and detail is splendid which is key to a good story. So just keeping going and I can't wait to read more thanks.

When you research, you research. I loved this chapter and how you interwove Jiro's real history with his family. Glad he didn't stop to think to throw Lazarus out the window after he beheaded Jiro's baby brother. It was real and vibrant and I just learned the flavor of the termoil and anguish from 16th century Japan and its endless civil war during the Tokagawa era. Like "WOW!" Amazing girl. And I loved Jiro's interaction with Inuyasha to make him realize the frutility of making his situation more complicated regarding their dad. Brilliant! On a personal note, that was my favorite scene/discription when Jiro explains the two paths and his choice/decision to leading his own life. How he was sorry that he couldn't be there, when he wanted to be there. To want to raise his own brother but was driven from his home. Except, if Toga wanted to behead his son, then he'd done it. Even after 3 centuries of a bounty on his head, Toga Taisho - the Inu-no-Taisho himself would have beheaded his own child, if he really meant it. He doesn't, but problem is that he's insane, in a high functioning type of way. And the other random question is then why did he allow Inuyasha to be born if Sesshoumaru was to be the prodigal/only son alive? Hum...the plot thickens. I really, really liked this chapter. Not saying your other chapters aren't fantastic - gods know you're one of the few (like 12 to 20 Authors to Inu Fanfic) that I've read that can capture me and throw me into the middle of your stories with a panoramic view/landscape of your discriptive imagery. IOW, you are a master in projecting a full feature film in my head. It also helps that I could personaly relate to Jiro talking to his little brother about the pitfalls and selfish insanity their dad has. I've spoken to my kid brother regarding our own father in a similar fashion, the self insanity that is. It also helps that we have a 17 year difference in age and we're not the only ones in the family that has this huge gap between ages from all of our siblings. So, I could really relate. And I loved your use of Robert Frost. But I always hum a line from "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin "Yes there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on..." Corny ain't it. Love that line, because I find the nature of your story on the one hand to be a meditation on the nature of "Choice" - like there is always a choice and sometimes it ain't about the road you travel on. Sometimes its jumping/leaping across canopy tops. More or less there is always a choice and ones that we don't even realize. However, that open-ended idealism takes away the larger element of the story, which I like just fine. Except this chapter had typos and a missing word here and there. Whatever. I'm just happy that you wrote this chapter and put it out here for us to read. :D Keep at it girl! Keep sending me beautiful film dailies to revel in. Always, Madjax36

you're right. a lot of information and it needed so be said. i still can't believe how wrong yash's dad was/is. amazing that someone could do those things, and to their family, no less! evil! and this chap made me love kagejiro even more. (is that possible?) he's awesome. and he certainly knows wtf is going on, even if no one else does. i am proud of kagome for at least trying to make things right with kikyo, but really, everyone is worried about their own hide about now. and kags self reflection she had going on was actually good for her. she needed to realize that the choices she's made were selfish. but, as kagejiro said, maybe it's not too late to change things! ahhh, please write more soon. i know the holiday season makes things hard, but, this is so addictive. : ) oh yeah, LOL at miro's comic relief comment. so true, so true! *hugs him*

Yes those would have been the part I liked most (that I could copy and paste...(which is why there are none here tonight but I will say I LOVED Kagejiro story... his heart is in the right place... ) (I had to open up another window with the story so I will paste my favourite lines (that I can find ) "What, tripped and fell on his dick?" If he was in love with her, he would have been there for her, protected her and me. She wouldn't have dug her own grave. Instead he's now letting his wife of five hundred years and seven children do it." "I say fuck it; you're happiness wins out at the end of the day. He had returned home, for the funeral, with all intent on taking InuYasha back overseas with him. It was bad enough that Sesshoumaru's soul belonged to their father. He was not going to allow that to happen to InuYasha. But he was too late. His father cornered him at the funeral, demanded for `Jiro to leave immediately and never return; he even went as far as to remind Kagejiro of the three hundred year old bounty he had on his head. `Jiro had left without saying goodbye to either of the boys. Awesome! I'm soglad to get an update from you. I've been waiting forever! Completely understandable, the moving and all. Just got done doing the same myself. Gosh, waiting for your update was like waiting for Breaking Dawn to come out! Great series by the by. You should check Twilight out. Movie premiers Nov. 21. 3 days before my b-day. Yay! and this was the highlight of my horrible day. wonderful chapter. definately easier on the heart, except that im sure there is more impending drama. on a final note, i would like to punch kikyo in the esophagus. that is all. keep up the good work dear and im anticipating the next chappie!!
