Incredible! Simply fucking incredible! This has been THE best fic I've ever read, hands down, no contest! It's made me laugh. It's brought me to tears. I'm in awe. I'm inspired. You fucking rock! Thank you so much for sharing this brilliant story with us, because it truly stands alone in the wide world of fanfiction. I'm sure I'll be enjoying it many more times to come ^_^ Hell, I love it more than I ever loved the show! You're a incredible writer! This was an absolutely wonderful fic! I really hate Videl and am definitly NOT a Goku fan, but I absolutly loved this! I really felt for both of them and wished it would have ended happily, but real life is seldom like that and I'm sort of glad it ended the way it did, although I am sad to hear there will be no sequel. Have you thought of letting someone else do it? I mean it might be hard to find someone who could do it as well, but I'm sure tons of people would love to try!

Woooohooo! That was soooooooooooooooooo great! i cant belive it's finished!! Excellent job indeed! Aww... it IS sad though.. I mean its sad that its finished!! A sequal would be nice, but not compulsory! So.. if you ever do find the inspiration and the time.. it would be great! I've been following this fic for a while and have enjoyed it thoroughly. You have drawn me in completely using two things I don't normally like: Goku and switching first-person POV. That's a testament to the story. Thank you.

... It seems mean to only be able to give 10's... They need higher ratings... :D I feel so down and empty now that it's over...:( Lord knows how you must feel. It was a perfect ending. It seemed to be the only way to wind up the story, and of course leaves the field wide open for the reader to imagine all the possible scenarios that lead out from where you left off. No matter what anybody says to you, this was the perfect ending for this fic - and I don't usually like angst! It was beautiful...truly beautiful. Throughout the entire fic the characters were well constructed and maintained. Your plot was...perfect. I'm probably your biggest fan and have been since the first moment I read your work. I have to say to you that this is my favourite DBZ fanfic I have ever read and that you are my favourite author. You're work is flowing, poetic and is a true pleasure to read. Infact I'd love it if you'd allow me to host this fic on my site, I still have a thing for odd couple fanfiction even after all these years! (vegeta_goddess@hotmail.com). I don't know what else to say to you...you know that I love your writing style, your stories and your ideas. I think the only thing left for me to say is that you're one of the few people I know who can write a story using about a saiyan bond and not have the story turn out to be...well...the same as every other saiyan bond fic. You're writng is original and wonderful and is a fantastic mixture of genres! COMPLETELY AWESOME!! The best story I have ever read anywhere!! I check everyday to see if you updated...yes I know...I have no life...but alls fair because it only takes a second to check. Unfortunately, I've lost ALL interest in DBZ. Completely. But somehow I'm still anxiously anticipating the end of this fic. It's the very verylast one I'm holding out on, and I really hope you intend to write the end of it someday. Hell, I've even abandoned my own epic at this point (shame on me), but this is more than worth waiting for. It's been (hands down) the best fanfiction I've ever read. And you're so close to the end. Nnnn.... But if you truly don't intend on writing the last chapter for whatever reason (I can understand), is there anyway you could at least tell me what happens. lol I won't tell anyone else. It's just that you left us on a cliff hanger and I would really love to know how everything turns out before I give up completely. Please... Hey, this is great!! I just read all chapters, and they were excellent! I like the POV of both Goku and Videl, and I love the pairing very much! I like pairings that have Goku with any woman besides Chi Chi. I really don't like her. In ant case, I give Goku and Videl my full support on this one! Also, Goku, please listen up here. Instead of following on what is for the families on Earth, follow your heart. You have been too considerate of other people's feelings and emotions. Although I find it a real rare and good quality, you really need to think and act with your own feelings. Trust me, go with your heart and feelings. Tell Videl that you love her. Believe me, ChiChi never showed you much love at all. In fact, I think the only reason she even "loved" you from the start was so she could have a child. After that, you were a little more then a shadow to her. Videl, on the other hand, is the one for you. She is like you, in many ways! She knows on how it is like being not loved, was naive like you when you two were both young, and also wise and thoughtful towards others. Goku, please go to her. Even if everyone hates you and Videl for being together, it doesn't matter! You have each other, and that is all you two ever need. I give both of you my blessings and respect. Goku, you have always been my favorite warrior and Z-fighter! I hope to see you guys at your wedding! Hahaha! I also hope you have twins; a son and a daughter! In any case, excellent story here! I hope you update soon! Keep it up!

WOW! I fell in love with this story when I was bored one day and started looking for alternate pairings in the DBZ/DBGT world. I found it on this one website which only had a link to the first seven chapters. I knew there had to be more so I went in search to find if another website that had your story too. My search led me here where I was able to continue reading the rest of the story! You are truly a gifted writer, utterly amazing. This story is very intriguing and awesome. I feel for them so much it drives me crazy. I do hope you are able to finish the story, I would very much like to find out how everything turns out. Even though I dread and know that its impossible for them to be together. I would still like to have completion to the story. I just wanted to encourage you to continue on with the remainder of the story. And to commend you on your extraordinary ability to write. Thank you for writing this story, I enjoyed reading so very much.

I can't even begin to tell you what you're doing to me with this. I... Oh god, I honestly don't know where to start here! This story is so fucking incredible, I'm just about speachless here trying to think of a review to give you.
First off, your characterization of Goku is so dead on to fitting into the canon, I can't believe what I'm reading sometimes. I haven't looked at his character the same way since I read the first chapter of your story, and you've made him into something soooooo much mmore then what I once thought was just a one-dimentioal character of a one-dimentional cartoon. The life and realism you add to him is amazing, and there's not much more I can say about that. I only hope I can be as descriptive and insightful with MY characters as you have been with even half of Goku.
Secondly, you're representation of Vegeta in this chapter (and every other chapter for that matter) has been the definitive version of how I think he should be written ever since I started reading this. It's fucking perfect! I can't (CAN'T!!) stand the way Vegeta is portrayed everwhere else, whether he's the main character or not, since you have finally made him into someone believeable and REALISTIC to who he actually is! You've managed to add more in the depth and character development for him with every word or action he makes, that some fics can't even accomplish in 100,000 words! I'm truly impressed with how you write him! Everywhere else, "Emotional Vegeta" is completely OOC and feels totally wrong.
And finally, to thank you - for inspiring me to write the way I do. I've been so inspired by the effect of your writing, I have used you as my sole inspiration with my current project. I haven't created a work of art like "Granted", but I have tried to create that sense of realism and story development through the eyes of the character as you have, since I now know how rewarding it is to read such detail in characters you thought you already read everything about. It's also not nearly as original in it's pairing as yours is, but I have done everything I can to follow your lead for storytelling in such a dramatic way.
I can't believe that this story is almost over! Unlike anything else I've ever read, I DON'T want this one to end. You wow me everytime. Not to mention how this is one of only three fics I still follow anymore and I will miss talking about it with other readers of "Granted" and wondering what will happen next. But I hope, more than anything, that we'll have a happy ending to read. And yeah, yeah, I know - either way it ends will be sad. But you know what I mean.
Please don't leave us waiting too long.... but at least long enough so I can read read the whole story again from the beginning for the 5th time ^_^ ... so tomorrow then, right? lol

This chapter was great - I loved how deeply emotional alll Goku's thoughts were. I htink I also liked Vegeta's character in this chaptera lot too.
