Although I'm sad to see this, one of my favorite stories come to an end, I know you will not pass up the opportunity to make a sequel. I must admit you and WolfBloosm have become my writing idles, for you are one of the two authors I followed since I created an account here the first time as Diamondpink, unfortunately that account was deleted, but that's beside the point. Congrats on a job well done on this story. And knowing you, you'll make another kick ass story like this. I wish you all the best. P.S. I was wondering, if its not too much to ask if you would checkout my stories and see if any of them have the potential of being as great as yours. If you do I must warn you they aren't Inu/Kag but Sessh/Kag (ALL MY INU/KAG STORIES SUCK ON ICE, so I stopped writing them.) Domo and good luck on others!

Absolutly amazing story. I read this quite a while ago and only managed to get up to chapter 80. I found this one again while bored last week and started re-reading. Absolute perfect timing that the last chapter came up when it did. This is one of the first and only that i have ever read that had a history and what a history. Amazing fic. I tip my hat to you.

Seriously, what an accomplishment to have not only written a great fic, but to have tied it all up in the amount of chapters you said you would. And this story has inspired several different ideas in my own mind and I'm thankful that I was able to befriend you through this it. I think I've really improved as an author after getting to know you and I'm humbled that you felt like you benefited from our discussions as well. Amazing! This has been one of the best fan fictions I have had the fortune to read. In my opinion you are one of the shining stars in that list of great authors you gave and acknowledged as your inspirations. To this day no other story has affected my quite the same way as that chapter where Sango died. I think you have made one of the legendary fanfics. I can't wait to see what creative stuff this baby was keeping you from producing. I've got to go see if you're on my favorite authors list and add you if not so I can get notifications on it all. Don't worry about the crapload of chapter updates... I'm kinda used to it having doggieearlover(and several others) on my favorite authors list hehe. Well... I think that's about all I have to say... I would have to re-read the whole thing (which would take me days) if I was to try to point out any mistakes or questions if there are any... so, enjoy your accomplishment and know that I'll be reading even if my lazy ass doesn't review all the stuff you write after this. Somebody should send you some roses or something.

*faints* Well THAT was certainly a long story. I have to be honest with you; I did find the last few chapters to be boring and long-winded (except the last one), but it was all worth it in the end. I had a particularly good laugh at some points in this very last chapter (please don't ask me where... I wouldn't be able to tell you), so I'm leaving Mating Season with a smile - depending on the starring characters, I may just read the 'Mating Season Universe' oneshots, but we'll see, yeah? I must admit, there was ONE part of MS that I still refuse, to this day, to read; the Shippou/Rin lemon. I did not particularly feel that Rin's mental development was quite 'there' yet -- but then again, how many girls really are these days when they have sex? That aside, I've read (most of) this story multiple times, and I must admit, my favourite pieces centre around Kazuki's birth and infancy. Older versions of Kagome and Inuyasha don't really appeal to me as much, and yet I find it most endearing in this 'universe'. I would just love to say that I've found several of your fics an inspiration; even if I haven't actually taken anything from them and written, some have made me think of other positions that they could find themselves in when in those scenarios. I have lots of little ideas floating around in the back of my mind (many of which'll probably never be finished [I have a horrible habit of not finishing what I've started] and/or posted) as a result of reading, not only MS, but all of your work (The Backward Blanket, by the way, is my favourite of your pieces; it's a lovely spin on the blanket scenario). I must admit (oh, geez, I'm admitting a lot XD); I've lost interest in the reading of Inuyasha fanfictions. It is authors like yourself (and others such as Wolf Blossom, doggieearlover, and InuyashaThinksImSexii [I think her former name was Keiko89, or something?]) that have kept me reading Inuyasha fanfiction on MediaMiner while I have migrated back to writing Cardcaptor Sakura fiction on FanFiction.Net (which is where I started out). I was so excited to see the chapter alert in my email -- this was one of those few stories that I followed religiously (even if it took me a while to get through the chapters). Now that it's all over (at least, this portion is), I can breathe a sigh of relief in knowing that the events that I've been hanging out for have come to pass. I must say, though, that I feel that any form of direct 'sequel', should anyone request it, would likely take away from the story. Thank you for the family tree, even if I only DID glance at it every now and again. To be perfectly honest, I forgot characters halfway through, as there were so many, so that helped a bit. (Oh, goodness, this is turning out to be one of the longer reviews I've written. XD) I apologise for not being a regular reviewer (I forget where and when I review, so I seldom do it now), but I have been following Mating Season for the better part of about a year. Each time a chapter came along, I would get all giddy and giggle as I read (despite how funny it may or may not have been [except when people died or were in danger of dying]). All in all, thank you for your great story; I really admire an author who can reach 100 chapters (no matter how long it takes them) and still be telling a story. There have been many good laughs along the way, I cried at some points, and overall (as the story was still running) I just could not wait until the next chapter came out. I honestly don't know what to say. I'm so honored, you don't even know. I feel horrible because I'm so behind (writing, work, sites, and crap that kill all my time), and the fact that you even remembered me at all in your liner notes is... wow. It's really nice to be a positive influence on someone, so thank you for allowing me to be that for you. 100 chapters -girl, you're trying to kill me! But I'm going to pick up where I left off and suck this baby up! ^_^ Many, many thanks for reading my stuff and enjoying it. Not bad for what was a short hentai at first. Y'know, I've been waiting to lay down a really huge review for this thing after it was over, but now it's so big I'm not even sure what to say to encompass all of it. There's really no feeling quite like finishing a monster like this. I'm sure you must be euphoric. All I can really hope for is that enough people read it so that people spent more time enjoying it than you spent writing it. You can add 12 hours from me toward that end. I've enjoyed your one-shots as well, and I'm looking forward to whatever you come up with next. One point of trivia. I have a challenge out about fanfics. I'm looking for one that can make me cry, one that can gross me out, etc. That scene waaaay back in it when INuyasha was slashed open and turned human and was pretty much bleeding to death until Kagome cauterized him...that's about as close to grossed out as I've ever come. Very vivid. Special kudos for that. Cheers!

Not bad...favorite moments was when Inyasha hugged Kagome's mom, I felt a lot of fuzziness there. And the sence at the Inn was hot hot hot! The last chapter, Cry Wolf was simply wonderful, full of a good action packed excitemetn and thrills. Koga had some nerve, but I feel he may come back.... Loving it so far. @_@

This is a very good start to an incredible epic! I notice you have been writing this for some time, which is an accomplishment to most writers who start a good story only to abandon it later. The grammatical errors are not too bad and can be quickly over looked, and the plot is pretty much like the most Iny/Kag stories, but it has a bit of a twist to it. I'm really interested in seeing how you stretch this out into the epic that it is now... I'm sure it's going to be enjoyable by seeing the rave number of reviews you have. But two thing threw me off at the start of this story: Does InuYasha say "Keh" on the anime a lot? I think he does... and second, I had to laugh when he bit all his nails off. I really, really didn't expect that. Good job so far!

I can't wait for the last chapter! ^_^ Honestly, around the naraku phase of this story, I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue it for fear that it was like any other Inuyasha fanfic out there, but I kept with it, and was rewarded with an AMAZING story! I love this fic so much, and although I don't want it to end, I simply cannot wait to see how you wrap it up! Thanks so much for sharing your story! ^_^
