Lovely update, as always. Sango bringing up how Kagome used to act around Inuyasha, though she was kind of ripping the miko, was actually a good thing because that was an excellent way Kagome weaved it back around to the point she was trying to make with Rin. Hopefully Rin won't be left feeling too lonely for too much longer. At least with Kagome there now she does have one more person not afraid to be her friend. Plus now the two of them get to learn things together, and Rin won't feel quite so far behind as the rest of the village and risk feeling stupid because she doesn't know how to do certain things. Not when Kagome is right beside her also learning those same things from scratch. Looking forward to the next update. :-)

That last little bit really made me laugh! Miroku trys to say he doesn't tease everyone, but then the last thing he does this chapter is tease Kagome! lol

LOL, I could just see Miroku's face as he choked on the water as Inuyasha said that Kaede wants him to help Kagome with 'touching'...*slaps monk upside the head* Not that kind of touching, hentai! LOL, though I'm sure in the privacy of their own hut as Inu helps Kagome practice it might occasionally turn into 'that' type of touching. ;-)

What a lovely scene! I would feel pretty useless too, at first, if I were thrust back in time like that, but at least one thing I do know how to do is sew things by hand. I'd have absolutely no idea in the world how to make a kosode until somebody showed me how to cut it out, but stitching a hem like for making towels? Okay, THAT I can do, LOL. Though I can't guarantee I wouldn't prick myself... What a lovely little glimpse into their lives for a moment, as always. Looking forward to the next update, as always. :-)

I bet Inuyasha cannot wait to help Kagome with her lesson on touching! I'm also really interested in seeing where you take the Sess/Rin relationship in future chapters! They clearly care for each other! One curiosity I did have, was if Sesshomaru has been around the area, why hasn't he approached Inuyasha or Kagome about their new found relationship? Perhaps he doesn't care. It would fit with his very aloof personality! Anyways, looking forward to the next installment! Keep up the great work! :)

Woo-hoo, practice touching, ne? Hehehehe...but all silliness and lecherousness aside Kaede's right, she's gotta learn it and that's how she'll learn. I also loved that you showed her taking off her miko garb to change back into her wifely clothes as soon as they got home; like there was ever a chance of her forcing her husband to live with her dressed as a miko day in and day out. Even though she's shown exclusively in miko clothing in the last chapter of the manga after settling into life in the past, she's also A) picking herbs, and B) just going for a run with Inuyasha, which could have easily happened spontaneously while out picking herbs or after just finishing up some other miko duty or another, deciding to go for a run on their way home. I could see her wearing miko garb as her primary outfit if she and Inu were to go on some mission to some other village somewhere, because it would be good to advertise the fact that she is a miko, but at home with her husband she should definitely be dressed as his wife. Lovely update, as always. Looking forward to the next one. :-)

Another wonderful update, as always. I suppose in some twisted kind of logic it makes sense that Seiji would try to stop Inuyasha from chasing the bandits, if looked at that way, that his presence and help just generally speaking is hurting their honor. He must have had an air about him that they could handle it without his help. But there again, I'm sure it was not his own child's life he had put on the line for the sake of honor. Glad Susumu had been there to knock some sense into him, or if not any sense, to at least play interference so Inuyasha could get after those bandits. Can't wait to see how Kagome practices healing with her spiritual powers. We've seen 'Kagome the healer' before, but I like that you're actually showing us how she learned it. That type of thing could never be something she just up and does without any training. I also liked that herb lesson; knowing you and your attention to detail, each of those herbs together do make a tea that helps with congestion. Looking forward to the next update, of course, as always. :-)

Yay! Another update! LOL. Fabulous as always, of course. Hopefully Nakao doesn't end up corrupted like his elder brother and father; there's still hope for him at this stage in his life. I just can't imagine anyone being stupid enough to try and actually hinder Inuyasha's persuit of bandits, unless the guy didn't know what was going on as Inuyasha ran around crazily sniffing the air and straining his ears in various directions and his strange behavior had just freaked him out. But if that were the case then one would think that after the fact that there were bandits approaching had been revealed and Inuyasha successfully saved their village he would have felt guilty for his previous, misguided thoughts. Oh well, whatever. *sigh* Of course, the fact that I'm so into all of your various original characters just proves what an awesome writer you are! These people are so real that I want to smack the stupid ones upside the head myself! LOL. Keep up the awesome work! :-)

That was sweet, I'm glad that woman ran up to them on their way to Kaede's. Inuyasha definitely has more friends in the village than enemies, or even if they're not all really his friends there are enough people who might have a healthy fear of him but respect him all the same and recognize that having a fierce being like him on their side is actually a good thing. Nice job. And poor Inu, kicked out of the miko study group, though Kagome can't possibly stay glued to his hip 24/7. I can understand his reluctance to let her out of his sight, but she is safe so long as she is with Kaede, and he knows exactly where she is. I doubt he'll go very far. Great update, as always. :-)

Fortunately, if all Joben has Morio do is make ofuda for his own house, to keep Inuyasha's supposed 'bad luck' mojo away from his family, then nobody else really has anything to worry about. It's not like Inuyasha has any intention of actually going to Joben's house. And supposing, just supposing, somebody human invading like another bandit or some other bad guy got in that house and was hurting somebody, or it caught on fire or something else nasty like that, and Inuyasha was physically prevented from running in to rescue them, well then that would be their own problem. Can't they see that Inuyasha is good luck?! He's a protective inugami and samurai warrior all rolled into one! Oh well whatever *sigh*. LOL, see this is how you know you're a good writer, 'cause your characters get under my skin as if they're actually real people I wish I could personally go slap some sense into. Great job! Looking forward to the next update, as always. :-)

Ah, I've wondered when a naysayer would appear and have hateful things to say about our happy couple. Thankfully, Kagome knows just the thing to keep her husbands mind off the bad! Lovely chapter as always! ;)

Can't blame Inuyasha for still being a bit apprehensive, especially since there is a family living in the village that is openly against him and his relationship with Kagome, but we all know those few naysayers are vastly outnumbered and that ultimately everything will work out all right. Lovely update, as always. :-)

A place for everything, and everything in its place. I guess that's not as hard to do when you only have a one-room house and two or three pieces of furniture, but somehow, I get the feeling Kagome is happier now in this moment then she ever felt any Christmas or birthday back in Tokyo as a child. That sounds like a beautiful piece of furniture he was able to snatch for her, so I'm glad also for Inuyasha, that he's able to give her at least a few nice things, since in his mind she deserves so much more. Beautiful update, as always. Looking forward to the next installment. :-)
