Lovely update. LOL, poor Miroku, not getting to go home yet, but at least Shippou feels guilty for abandoning Tazu, even though we all know she's got to be fine. It's good that he cares, though, even if a part of him is only terrified he'll get blamed and punished if something bad did happen to her. Yay for having the Sesshoumaru fly-by scene! I thought you weaved that last bit of canon into your universe just beautifully. Definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next! :-)

Thank goodness Eiji got to Maeme before she went home. Now hopefully he'll be able to catch the oldest son, too, and give him the same warning to not go home yet. The opening scene with Sesshoumaru and Rin was cute. I knew you'd be getting back around to them. Too many things happening all at once. Looks like we're about to have that fly-by scene near the end of the final chapter, and Rin showing Kaede her new kimono, and then we'll finally be 100% out of the manga and into 100% original creation territory. Can't wait!

Awww...that was sweet. Nice of Kazuo to have Morio think of Nana as his mother. Whether she actually does resemble his mother, or Kazuo just made him think it, that doesn't really matter so long as he obviously won't mind staying there with them and I'm sure Joben is especially thrilled with this latest turn of events, LOL. The WAFFy scene with Inu/Kag at the beginning was sweet, too. I just knew she was going to tease that she didn't have any pickles, for the reason why he wouldn't want to stay a week, LOL. I think for a week along with Kagome, though, Inuyasha might just be willing to put up with a lack of pickles, ;-). Great update, as always. Looking forward to seeing what happens next. :-)

Good update. Nice to see that things are still progressing forward, as linear time would dictate that they do, LOL. I'm standing by what I said in my previous review, Seiji is officially the new bad guy in my mind. I would rather deal with Chiya any day of the week. She might be a total bitch currently having a pity party for one, and be queen bee when it comes to manipulation, but that's nowhere near as bad as a strong man who's a mean drunk giving bruises to whoever looks at him wrong whenever the mood strikes him. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next. :-)_

Okay, screw Chiya, she's just your average bitch. Seiji is officially the new 'bad guy' of the village, LOL. Wonderful update, as always. The scene with Sesshoumaru was cute, and just how terrified Shippou was. I suppose I can't really blame Tazu for being curious, after hearing Rin's stories, and definitely can't blame Shippou for being afraid since he's seen Sesshoumaru in battle, although he should realize by now that Sesshoumaru wouldn't really hurt him. Still though, Shippou knew it wasn't their place to go and eavesdrop on his visit with Rin; Tazu should have known better but then again she's just a kid. Knowing she's Rin's friend, Sesshoumaru would never lift a finger against her, or even try to spook her with an evil glare, I'd imagine. It was nice to see Morio actually show sympathy and compassion towards Joben. Looks like he's been reduced to how he really was as a child before he turned into a wicked man, aside from the whole being afraid that a monster will get him which I'm sure is a fear he hadn't had as a real child. All things considered though, that he thinks he's a child and doesn't have his parents, living with strangers, and he thinks there's a monster trying to kill him, he's not actually misbehaving that badly. If he were a real little boy it'd be fine; it's just trying to deal with a little boy the size and strength of a full grown man. And not understanding why he's a full grown man, that's just scaring Morio all the more. I still don't quite feel sorry for him, but with Seiji acting like a total dick Morio definitely doesn't get the majority of my ire any longer. Gotta respect Kaede; she's a tough ol' broad who won't take anyone's shit. I love that.

I stumbled upon this epic today and put off studying for two history exams for this. I feel like this is the one continuation that actually satisfies my need for a proper ending to the manga/anime.

Oooo...nice update; especially that Inu/Kag scene at the end there. Sesshoumaru spooking Shippou was funny, especially since it's beyond obvious that he knows Shippou was trying to get Tazu to leave, and that Tazu's the one who refused to budge until she saw him. Can't wait to see her reaction. Right now she's just surprised that Sesshoumaru appeared out of nowhere and Shippou suddenly jumped in her arms as a result. Let the girl digest the situation for a few seconds. I would feel sorry for Morio, except we all know he deserves it. Not sure if I feel sorry for Joben or not. I think it's proper penance, so at least we can forgive him his previous transgressions since karma is balancing things out. Looking forward to seeing what happens next, as always. :-)

Well, I'm not worried that Sesshoumaru will actually do anything to them, I just hope poor Shippou doesn't get the blame for spying when he'd been trying to stop the girl, LOL. The middle scene with Inu/Kag was cute, too. Just a nice relaxing day in a meadow, listening to trickling water; sounds lovely. Looking forward to seeing what happens next with regard to this mini-cliffy you've given us here, and of course looking forward to what happens next just generally speaking, with the entire story. Keep up the awesome work. :-)

Whoa... Go Miroku! He has every right to be angry. He might not be the best monk in the world, but he tries, and despite being a flirt with an appreciative eye for the feminine form he really does think and act like a true monk at most times. Well okay, he's not a flirt anymore, but he definitely still appreciates the feminine form, even though it's limited exclusively to his wife, which is also not normal for a monk but yet he makes it work. He could have let the angry husband part of him rise up, and he didn't, so that was very monkly of him. The opening scene with Kaede was cute, too. At least she got a good nap in before Shippou accidentally woke her up. She can't very well sleep the day away. Looking forward to the next update, as always. :-)

Oh, what a cliffie! ;) I'm excited to see more Rin and Sesshoumaru interaction. Something about it... they just bounce off each other so well. I always wonder if he has any questions about how she's being treated, or if he keeps a close enough eye to know. And I loved seeing Shippou, too! He's darling. I'm wringing my hands about this Seiji guy and the Chiya situation, ooooh... things could get ugly. But I mean that in a good way! XD It's all very exciting.

Wonderful update. The scene with Inu/Kag was cute; I would've laughed at his 'uh-oh' expression, too. Probably a good thing Michio went for a walk with Daitaro and Shinjiro, just to cool off for a minute and stay out of trouble, but I definitely agree that Tameo needs to be informed of what happened. The Sess/Rin scene is getting WAFFy; that was adorable, the way she started singing her old song. :-)

Yay, Sesshoumaru's made his appearance! The Inu/Kag scene was cute, him telling her about her backpack still being there. Better late than never, I suppose, LOL. Poor Shinjiro, having to walk all over, LOL. But he's the one choosing not to go home and get fussed over instead; I'd probably pick the walking all over, too, LOL. All in all fabulous update, as always. Looking forward to the next. :-)

Finally got a chance to read this one. Good update, as always. Looks like things are coming along nicely. Looks like Seiji is getting ready to take over as #1 'bad guy' of the village since Tsuneo and Haname have both at least partially come around and Chiya is presently quite thoroughly put in her place. And here I thought I felt sorry for Michio, being married to Chiya. I really feel sorry for whoever the hell Seiji's wife is. Even though I don't like Chiya and think she deserves the occasional slap, it should be from a fellow woman, like what's happened, as they put her in her place for being such a bitch. Even with as bad as Chiya is I still wouldn't wish a man like Seiji upon her. I'm looking forward to seeing how things develop with his character. Also glad to see that Inu/Kag are going to go off for some alone time together. They deserve it. Keep up the awesome work!

Good update. I loved the banter in the beginning. The scene with Miroku and the others was good, too, and the little bit of insight into why Seiji's the way he is. Sometimes the past has a way of biting the present...too true. Visualizing how Choujiro's splitting the log, one realizes just how talented a board maker had to be back then, and how easily you could screw up and ruin a perfectly good log, not to mention a day's work down the drain if you did screw up. It's clear he knows what he's doing, though. In such a small village as that, everyone's going to be the best at something, and he's the best board maker. Looking forward to the next chapter. :-)

Good update! Nice to see things are moving along, both with getting Chiya to that house by the river as well as with the people up at Inuyasha's house. Wasn't expecting Seiji to show himself when he did. I guess with most of Tsuneo's ko more subdued now, he's got to take on the role of main antagonist for a bit, LOL. I loved how Miroku whirled on the singing boys, and his story about those birds, plus his and Susumu's humor about those birds afterwards. That was a nice touch. Looking forward to next week's updates. :-)
