just last night i was reading your chapter 5 on aff.net and was thinking dang its been a while since you updated this story and here u are today updating it! yay! good cahpter good chapter my friend! thats kind of cool how rin gets her own weapon now. was it because she was dying and since sesshoumaru loves her (even though the fool won't admit it..stupid male and their damn pride) so his jyaki saved her from dying? well update soon!

Man, I'm really sad my review for the last chapters didn't show up :( Oh well, guess I'll write it up again. I enjoyed the room-cleaning scene. It reminds me of so many movies and sitcoms where break-ups are involved. Even though, usually, in these movies, it's the women that tear through the house, gather all their ex's possessions and burn them in a large bonfire . . . hehe . . . the scene was no less enjoyable. And it seemed like something Sess would do. The mixed emotions he felt while watching the blaze was completely unique, though. All the women who did this were extremely happy to get rid of any reminders of their ex. Sess is so conflicted. You know what they say, "Da Nile just ain't a river in Egypt." lol I also like his "new" look. It seems as if he's beginning to embrace certain aspects of his father. So, I wonder if he'll take on other traits of his father, as well ^_- And having Rin do the etching on the armor was an added extra special touch . . . And, I would offer to beta for you, but my net access next month is going to be next to nothing. I assume you'd like somebody a little more reliable. So, Rin reached down deep and touched Sess' secret place, huh? ^__- I don't know what anyone could possibly be complaining about in this story. The characterizations are right on, the plot is truly unique, and your story flows well. Yeah, there's the occasional typo, but you know what? Nobody's perfect. You're doing a great job. Keep it up!

Dude, it's good that you take our ratings and review to heart and revise your work, but that sort of stuff is supposed to happen AFTER you've written the entire fic--not in the middle of it. Reason being, A) you'll get sick of the story long before you're done, making the rest of it suck; B) the readers will tire of waiting, lose interest and move on. Thus, mid-story-major-revising isn't very popular. Preferably you would've finished the story before releasing it to public forums like this (sorta), garner your C&Cs, then go back to rework on the story. But if you haven't the rest of it ready (*not* just the skeletons), this is really a bad idea. Take care, and dont grow too much white hair.

Boy, I was sweating back there too... I had to ROTFL when I read Toutousai calling Fluffy "Wan-chan". Someone should draw a doujinshi of this! ^^; Hmmm, but the cowering bit we haven't really seen Toutousai doing in the anime so far. Doesn't he usually manage to be long gone before Sesshy reaches the cave? And I can totally see that old kooky demon saying that it took 500 years of his life. Like to see more of how Rin is adapting to her new life, though. Sesshoumaru seems to be having it tough (LOVED the makeover though), moping around the castle (in his own way), not knowing how much time has passed. While I LOVE Rin and Fluffy to be back together eventually, could you drag this part out more? I think Rin needs a chance to grow up and find her own person, so to speak. Toutousai seems to be the perfect grandparent figure to help her do so. I really thinkthis fic has great potential, not that it isn't AWESOME already, but this part, living with that crazy old weapon smith, going through things like experiencing the harsher seasons, dealing with suitors and other people... could really help Rin grow. And Sesshoumaru needs to angst more in his anal way. *snicker*. Angst is good. Anal retentive angst, even better. So while I'd want a happy fluffyrin ending, please gimme more sugar here. ^^v

Great chapter! Totosai calling Sesshomaru 'dog' and 'puppy'... it's great! Rin seems to be too fearful though. I would think that being as sad as she is, she probably wouldn't be so afraid of dying, and she was brave in the battle. Just my opinion. Anyway, please update soon!

Review for chapter 8: La la la la..toto dude had better take good care of Rin...and oh :::inu's prin17 gets all red and puffy faced::: Sess had better not make rin go through that! I will be so mad at him that I will scratch his pretty, adorable face all up with my pathetic hand nails...hehe just kidding but he still had better not hurt her like that! Grrrr he has to come to his senses soon...i wish/hope Rin will be able to prove herself to him, and that he will regret his decision to abandon her a great deal more than he slightly already does. Anyways great chapter like all the rest you are doing an amazing job! Two more review to write!
