i just have to say that i am about to explode with happiness since you have updated again. i have been waiting eagerly for this new chapter for a while now and, here it is! i just thought i'd share my joy with you first. omg, were you trying to kill me? kagome's house being so dark and no one answering her was about to do me in! i thought for sure that something was wrong. i didn't even think of it being a baby shower. or was her mom using that as an cover for something else? she was acting strangely. like kagome wondered...how did they know she would be there at that exact time? then, poor rin and sess with the bottomless pit of pride on his side, and her own inner struggles making their lives miserable. will they ever find a peace within eachother? i love this fic more than words can say and i was waaay too excited to read it to notice any major mistakes, if any. proof read if you must, but i'd say you've got it damned near perfect. i sincerely hope that whatever it was that happened to you during the long absense is alright now. best of luck.

...wow... O_O ... that was great! I am soo in luv with this fic. I would like to thank InusDemoness for suggesting it. I would not have known that a Sesshy/older Rin fic could be sooo satisfying. You should consider being an author; if you're not already one. Normally I stick w/my fav characters; which are Inu/Kag, but this story is awesome. I was hurt at first, b/c my people were being neglected and abused. But as you've stated there is no lack of angst. I've enjoyed every curving, twisting, romantic, adrenaline-rushed, heart-wrenching, and tear-jerking moment. I cannot wait for you to complete this story. I'm anxiously awaiting more. Also, I absolutely luv how you've intergrated the jap phrases into the fic. Thanks for the quick lesson in jap. Absolutely fantastic!!!

I've re-read this story, happy that this fic isn't abandoned. I know how real life can get in the way of hobbies, and appreciate you finding the time to update and share with the rest of us! Hope to see another update soon, because now I am really curious as to why Kagome's family are acting weird, and how DID they know she was going to be there? (and what were they thinking "surprising" Kag and Inu? They are lucky he didn't Kaze no Kizu their livingroom!). The whole time they were having their "baby shower" I was thinking, "cmon Kagome, make your Ma tell you why she's acting so weird!" but yeah, Kagome was preoccupied with her other stresses at the moment. Still, it's killing me! And Sesshoumaru, he's going to make Rin suffer both his mother's fate of being distanced from the man she loves AND Inuyasha's mother's fate, of being labeled a youkai whore, only she's going to have to live through that for as long as he lives...what is he thinking? If he makes Kikyou's words come true, and he takes a demoness as wife and to have a full demon heir, how does he think that is going to work? A demoness is going to let his human toy hand around? He'd do to his new wife what his father did to his mother? He'd be repeating ALL of his father's mistakes!! OK, I've thought far too much about this, as you can see. Just hit Sess on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and please update soon!

Wow, this is a great story... I've read many many many fan fics with Sess/Rin pairing, but none of those seem believable. Yours, on the other hand, is VERY believable. I hope they're going to end up together in this story though... Nice lime in Chapter 22. You really captured Rin's heartache and frustration well.. I hope things are going to get better between those two.

I really enjoyed it. It seems to be a really interesting relationship with tension and angst between Rin and Sess. I am curious as to why you did not make this two or three chapters though. Well this chapter has been a long time in coming, I'm glad you finally got it out. Except for a few typos that I'm sure Mmoirai has already sent you I didn't notice anything wrong that way. But I must say that this chapter focused more on Inuyasha and Kagome, kind of like you are changing the main characters even though I know you aren't. I hope your next chapter comes out soon, I hope everything comes out butterflies and flowers happy. Anyway, good job and I hope you continue to write, and I am truly sorry for the dear thing that you lost, time is suppose to heal all. (PS In case you couldn't figure it out, I;m Mmoirai's 'baby' sister, I say baby becuz I'm taller than her and to say little sister doesn't really apply anymore.) Keep it up, I love your story, it was the first one I ever read and I hope to read the rest of it within the next few months. (I'm kind of a harsh critic - sorry.)

I had just begun to read your fiction last week, when I found it! In truth... I looked ALL OVER FOR IT!! I found a Doujinshi page with a really incredible picture on it, and I did a goodle search on the title of the picture, which happened to be EIEN NE... and... I got sent to your story! I have fallen in love with it, and I will not hesitate to say... this is my favortite fan fiction EVER! I have told EVERYONE THAT! Even people that DON'T like the Sess Rin pairing love this fiction! I have a link on my website to this... I hope ya don't mind... The Older Rin/Sesshoumaru pairing is my absolute, non matched pairing in the whole entire universe. ^_^ It's my obsession! I usually write Kag Sess, even though I actually hate that pairing... go figure! Anyway... I sent Rinseternalsoul a link to this fiction, and hoepfully she will tell all her readers about it in an Author note! I know that I will!
